We really should try to dissolve his contract. I cant imagine drink driving, drink fighting etc are not sackable offences or at least require a fine. And if not our contracts should be extended accordingly

I can kind of see why he's lost his way.

He had that unexpected joy at Leicester and wanted more, in his initial interview he such clear hunger and determination to add to his collection and show his 15/16 wasn't a fluke. After failing at that is probably when he lost it, he was happy grinding out a midtable/championship career previously but after a taste of the top level couldn't motivate himself to return to the more working class area of the industry.

DUI are tricky. Was he really impaired, or caught at a random stop after having a couple? Latter is just a money-grabbing thing (not very scientific).

Drinkwater seems like a grade A prick although it's funny that his initials are DD which is exactly what he got charged with . You go to any nightclub doesn't matter if your a footballer or a warehouse worker and you make a move not once but a number of times on someone else's bird it's not going to end up well. I can imagine him giving the do you know who I am line to her and saying something along the line of what are you doing with him come and get some premier league action.

Bit over the top jumping on his legs but if someone had done that to me and my mates when I was young they would have got a deserved kicking.

Also i dont like the phrase of "someone else's bird" as if that woman is someone else's posession and if she can not speak for herself and needs men to beat someone up for her. That is some medieval perception of gender roles. 

And even if approaching someone else's girlfriend is not exactly gentleman like behaviour, it does under no circumstances justify the cruelty of trying to mutilate someone outnumbered 6 to 1

It's an English expression I'm hardly going to say some chap's lady friend. I'm sorry but if you're acting Billy Big Bollocks and hitting on a young man's lady friend and have been warned off several times you only have yourself to blame act like a prick there are consequences. Six on to one is not right but it's a nightclub people are drunk and on drugs it happens every weekend fact is behave yourself and you won't be put in a position where six geezers are going to attack you.
