🇫🇷 Tiemoue Bakayoko

At first when I see the team I thought let's give him a chance.

Well he was so bad it beggars belief he did one positive thing hit a crossfield pass of about 35 yards, from the on it was, get caught in possession, fuck any pass up, running around like a headless chicken absolutely no sense of positional play, it goes on and on the guy is totally useless.

Why the fuck don't we have Ampadu next to N'golo surely he can't be anyworse that the shit we've got.

I want to see the 3 of them out at the end of the season Bakayoko, Drinkwater, Fabregas, we need at least one top quality MF to replace them.

Whilst on the subject where the fuck is this Barkley, ffs what a midfield we have:middlefinger:

Then I see the wee man playing 2 games in 1, his energy level, his ability to cover the pitch is something to behold, but he's so much more than this.

Every bad player has a good game once in a while. Torres had some great games. Even if Baka played well in those games, he wasn't MOTM of any of those games. At least Morata when he played well, had some MOTM performances including the United home.

MOTM is an opinion. Point stands that IF Baka can produce that level of performance against that level of opposition he can be a top player for us. whether that performance or confidence ever comes back if another question

Nah. He's finished (at least in Chelsea).

I'd rather get somebody else than wishing and praying he'll turn around next season. We should maybe keep Morata (because he did a lot more and we paid £70m), but Baka? Cuts your losses quickly. Whatever he had in Monaco, he barely showed it to us this season. I can only think of 1 great Baka game, everything else was crap.

He was actually really good upto and including Atletico away and was giving us the drive and power we lacked from Matic, which makes his fall from grace since then just truly bizarre.

Dare I say it again...honeymoon period?

The PL is a whole different ballgame to Ligue 1. Maybe Baka doesn't fit our style of play, I don't know. But something isn't right, and nothing is improving.

When Baka gets the ball, I get nervous. We could seriously risk next season by keeping him and praying that he majorly improves or get another midfielder that is supposed to help Kante.

It's very annoying for Kante that he is doing everything.

Can't be explained with a honeymoon period, that would be a more apt description for Malouda's first season, the sheer drop after Leti away is something i have never seen before. I don't even get that mad watching him i am just staggered, only explanation i can think of is that his injury that was supposedly delaying the medical was more serious than we thought and rushing him back for Spurs while it helped on the day has ultimately cost us.

Watching him you can't really play the "EPL is tougher" card anymore. The league has no influence when he misplaces the simplest passes, fails to control the ball, misses headers or collects stupid yellows. All purely technical deficincies, not a matter of adaptation to the league or anything. That's why i have little to no faith that he will ever justify signing for us.

He was very good against Atletico and couple games before. To see him play this shit for a while now, its hard to explain.

But I guess its complete lack of confidence. And people will laugh, but if he can somehow pull it together, be it with age or different coach, I think he can be great midfielder.

Baka is terrible player right now, but Salah was awful here aswell and he is now leading scorer with 28 goals.

I mean never say never, Baka as shit he is might actualy reach top level one day. He certainly still has glimpses of it, but his head is in all the wrong places.

No it doesn't as you can say the same with Torres, Veron or Falcao at their times.

We knew Veron, Torres and Falcao could produce that level of performance for us when they were here, but they failed to consistently do it. How is Baka any different.

Not saying these are the reasons for his poor play....but Baka is younger, hasn't gone through career threatening injury and is very new to the premier league.

I would definitely give him a chance over the 3 you mentioned.

But whether he get's that second chance with us, is the question.

I said the same for Morata, but Baka's confidence is completely shot. Its even  worse than Morata I would reckon.

For me the situations of Morata and Baka aren't even close. Morata is miles ahead as a footballer even with low confidence. Baka with low confidence is a random bum from the street occupying space. I haven't lost faith in Morata, he has shown he has the technical tools, it's his mental side that needs work.

Despite the shit he shown this season, I would definately give him another chance. If he gets past his inconsistency and mental trouble which he can, he could be the best DM in league.

So someone who you think is shit and inconsistent and has in your words mental trouble can turn it around are you for real mate ?
