Popular Post! supporter 3,088 Posted December 26, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted December 26, 2014 Terry is a legend. Is incredible but with the passage time increasingly John plays better and better. I begin to think that John Terry can become the Paolo Maldini for Chelsea. He has a special mindset and never shows signs of physical fatigue. I think John will be many years with us. Having players like Terry makes us a team of football legend. Thanks CAPTAIN ToJaTomek, didierforever, Viper22 and 4 others

Gilvorak 3,734
Can't believe Chelsea fans were claiming Vidic and Rio were better players. WTF.While those two were very good players JT is just a rare breed. Arguably the greatest defender English football has ever seen and one of the 10 best ever. He's not even in the same class as bobby moore nevermind greater than. Some will argue he's not greater than tony adams either. Bobby is without question the greatest english defender ever and the only english defender that is talked about in the same breathe as beckenbauer, baresi et al

CHOULO19 24,332
Let's hope there's no stumbling block regarding wages/length..There are literally no world class CBs available right now on the market. The club would be beyond stupid not do everything to make this happen. As for wages, he's still one of the key players in the team, so there is no reason for the club to reduce his wages. Magic Lamps 11,692
Rumours are he has signed the extension. Thoroughly deserved. He has been close to his very best again. Proper legend.People say he can't play a high line but funny thing in the video most of tackles are even in the opposition's half. does not look that slow either. Gary Cahill, who is much faster on the other hand has failed the halfway line tackle more than once this season. Maybe high block is not only up to the defenders' pace. stroey

Popular Post! The Mak 4,459 Posted December 31, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted December 31, 2014 A legend who wouldn't join a direct rival and try to stop us winning the league. Well deserved. To be fair, he was making some noise a few years ago towards City until we gave him that new contract. However, the fact remains is that he is still here and is still Chelsea; I don't see him 'doing a Lampard'.And by the by, the fact that the Lampard thread is still locked is fucking bullshit. We can't express how we feel on the matter just because some don't agree or will take offence? Yes OK, some overact a bit, but its just like anything else. If some members are acting childish then they should receive warnings instead of moderators acting childish themselves by locking a thread for, what looks like, an entire fucking season; effectively taking their ball and going home - now that is childish. Therein lies the evidence as to why the thread is still closed. However when people were heavily cursing, and wishing all types of shit towards Fernando Torres, that was a one way train that was never derailed. TC can be funny at times. --Back to JT, i dont know whether to be impressed or scared that our best CB is 34 years old. Anyway, back to Terry.
Fulham Broadway 17,316
Kept us top of the league with the third goal. Thank heavens for small mercies on a shit day. The Skipper
BlueLion. 21,491
The goal partially covers up what was an horrendous performance by him,He's clearly struggling playing this many games, IMO, we need to be more intelligent how we use him. Today is the first time I've ever seen him struggle so badly. I'm hoping we can use the "he's tired" excuse. If not, we need to review our centre-back options in the summer and spend big.
