I think he should go out on loan next year tbh. We need to have something like x, Zouma, Christensen and ideally Terry (but probably Cahill), with x being a really good experienced defender. 

Footballers won't love and respect or have any passion for a club if you loan them. It's the new modern footballer mindset.

That depends on whether Christensen wants to return. He seems adamant on staying at Gladbach for at least another season.

If Conte gives him certain guarantees I can see him returning.

I'm not an advocate of guaranteeing outfielders a starting place (keeper is an exception for obvious reasons) but I wouldn't be averse to offering Christensen a run if games to nail a place down until Happy is back up to speed.

You wonder why so many youths do not make it here,one mistake and you are subbed. Baba got this treatment and is shattered, same as Miazga. Although it was mot his mistake to begin with, as he cleared the ball corectly. For some weird reason Mikel, who is our supposed CDM decided to become a 3rd CB, so Siggurdson was left alone. 

 

Hope he starts next game, again.

Staying on when playing bad often does youngsters more damage than going off.

You only need to look at Scott Carson to see how much mental damage even one bad game can do.

I do agree, but let's keep in mind the fact, that we had a relatively easy 2nd half, but they still demolished us twice on the counter. I don't think subbing Matt off actually made a marginal difference. Personal opinion ofcourse. It is based on some frustration.

I've just naturally said e not eye since I first read the name Miazga, but now you bring it up it's occurred to me that I don't know.

Don't think I've ever heard anyone say eye however and I've never heard Matt contradict anyone who said e.

The guy is getting a lot of attention here in the states. 

If he is any good we should gamble more on him as this will be great for the American market. 

That's where Chelsea is trying to grow. Having a player from the states will help. 

 

That being the case should continue to get games ahead of cahill till the end of the season.
