Chelsea v Southampton

I don't even feel like the main problem is the defence, it feels like we have had no meaningful play inside or around their box. No creativity whatsoever, if it wasn't for Willians wonder goal his could easily be 2-0, and would seem about right and a very different story

Williaaaaaannnn! Terrible season but a couple of sweet goals.

I was starting to worry Chelsea wouldn't concede.

Again, I don't know what to expect. Decent start but back to being crap after. Still vulnerable defensively throughout, it doesn't matter what XI he sends out. Mourinho can't fix the team it seems.

Well, let's wait and see what happens in the next episode of this madness.

The main problem was never defense.

League goals conceded by Chelsea in 8 games in 2015/16: 15.

League goals conceded by Chelsea in 38 games in 2004/05: 15.

How times have changed. [emoji17]

that 2004/2005 season, now that was a real team, we had everything, we could have even won the quadruple that season. We need that now desperately.

Shocking football in the 1st half.

Something is really wrong. The team can even exchange two passes. Southampton is controlling the midfield, and the team is basically playing long balls to a isolated Falcao. When a player in the mid has the ball, there is no one nearby to receive the ball, so there will be a long ball again.

Defense still as bad as it used to be.
