We have lost 6 games, drew 3 and won only once since the beginning of pre-season. If the youth are not given chances in times like this then there is really no hope for players outside the Jose's favourite XI. I'd like to see Musonda on the bench as well. Stats 7,142 Posted September 14, 2015 Share Posted September 14, 2015 As bad as Hazard, Fabregas and Costa have been I would start them this match because although football is not played on paper, this is a game really where they should be looking to get back to some sort of form. Dropping them will not instil confidence in them and I would rather they play and build up confidence before the Arsenal game. That is why I am sure all three will play. So far the only statement we've seen is that certain positions in the squad are 'safe' so a Ruben start is closer to stuff of fantasy than anything else just now.Also, he as much said Cahill will start in the champions league pre match on Saturday. Even if he plays Azpi at RB and Baba at LB, I'm sure Ivanovic will start against arsenal.No chance of RLC or Remy starting too. I can see Mikel starting again next to Matic and Willian for Cesc or Pedro.
