Magic Lamps 11,692
Dat burst of pace to break away from Lucas fucking Moura. His cross should have been an assist if it weren't for some shitty finishing of the highest order by Costa. Fantastic performance. You'd expect someone who has not played for so long to be rusty but he was fresh as you like. Really was a secret weapon today. Let's hope, PSG still can't deal with his crosses come the reutn leg.
Special Juan 28,141
When he broke away and was hauled back I had massive faith that had he got away he would of selected the right option and we may of scored. He just had such a brilliant night I felt that was a massive point in the game. He needs a massive pat on the back from everyone in the team and management. Stats

Baba would be flying now if the the fired one hadn't spent the first half of the season keeping him as a permanent sub. Â Who knows, Mourinho might have inadvertently see the wrong 'ten minutes'... Stats 7,142
We need to take a leaf out of Arsenal's book with Bellerin and do the same with Baba. Give him games and let him grow. Next season he will be a big part of the revolution. So refreshing seeing 2 natural attacking FB in their correct position. I hope Hiddink and co wake up now and God knows whatever manager we have hopefully they stop this bullshit with playing Azpi at Lb and Ivan at RB. It is ridiculous. Most refreshing thing is Ivanovic showed tonight that he is a really good CB. DYC.
OneMoSalah 8,886
Quite liked the look of him at times tonight but still has a lot to learn, sometimes he looks like he can be sloppy in possession and gives the odd bad pass if you get what I mean, maybe not a clean connection/risky that puts team mates under pressure but the cross for Costa's chance was superb although the other times he got into a crossing position he was quite wasteful. Hope he stays in the team, the whole back 4 tonight was very good and they should be retained for the next matches.
Popular Post! WNDS 502 Posted February 16, 2016 Popular Post! Share Posted February 16, 2016 He really didn't look out of place playing against opposing players of a calibre far greater than almost all of those currently playing in the PL; he needs more game-time, as simple as that. 11Drogba, Styles, didi007 and 3 others
Chelsea Legend 11 4,062
Hate to say I told you so but, well... Baba Rahman is a helluva a player and he showed that and then some tonight. Big stage, calm cool and collected. 5 tackles, 6 interceptions in an away leg tie against one of the best teams in Europe. Magnificent. Terry comes back into the side for sure but we have to find a way to keep Rahman in the team, one of Cahill or Brana must be sacrificed... My hope is its Cahill Styles

joaosoares 12
Played really well against PSG IMO. He is better than either Azpilicueta and Ivanovic on the offense. Stats and Styles
Beepu 1,714
Strong shout for MoM today. Got alot of criticism for his defending but today he did very well. Hope he can continue to take his chances, impress and make that LB spot his own. Because it's such a nice feeling to see natural fullbacks bombing forward, linking up properly with the wingers and putting in crosses like the one to Costa today. I swear, if he goes back to the bench then they trippin. Amblève., Styles and Stats
The Skipper 20,609
By far his best performance for us. Originally wanted us to sell him because he just didn't seem to get any sort of playing time and whilst his value would still be relatively high we should cash him but if he can produce performances like this consistently then he can easily change my mind. Styles
CHOULO19 24,332
Aside from a very nervous start, he did very well. Lucas got very little joy against him. Obviously still needs experience and to work on a few things, but this was a very promising performance. Styles
Special Juan 28,141
Of course he has a lot to learn, there is no doubt, but to learn you need to play too. Jose thought it was an offence to choose naturally footed wing backs and play them, last night proved it is not a crime and we looked fluid. Of course he had a few shaky moments but all the back line did at times but what we saw was the kid bombing on when the opportunity came his way. Start him against City, do not drop him. manpe 10,861
We can't forget he's only 21. With more belief shown in him, he can only get better. He's already good enough to be our starter, has been for a long time, but for some despicable reason he's been reduced to a role where he doesn't even get considered when everybody is fit. Why?? He proved he can do it on the biggest stage away from home, but even against mid- and lower table clubs he gets no love, when it was clear to everybody that this full-back pairing of Ivan-Dave doesn't work against teams that sit back. I agree with the people who say that Mourinho from 2003-2010 is gone - no way can such a limited manager in thinking be the best in the world anymore. I hope to fuck this opens Guus' eyes and Ivanovic gets chucked to CB permanently, it's clear as day he doesn't have the physical attributes to play full-back in 50 games a season anymore. Popular Post! Blue Colored Sky 1,807 Posted February 17, 2016 Popular Post! Share Posted February 17, 2016 I'm surprised nobody picked this up but here goes. What a man in keeping the ball. He can pass with his left and right foot and is calm. Compare that to Cahill, Ivanovic, Courtois and hell, even Azpilicueta. This guy is like "Hey, I'm immortal bitch". Huge feat is that. While our whole defensive set up just hates the ball and is giving it away for free, he wants to keep possession and look for a way to pass the ball to partner. If only we had at least one CB with such ability we could have more of the ball and less inviting pressure. He looks stronger and already you can see he has develop relation with Hazard on the left. The way they pass to each other looks repetitive but natural. They know what to do. I wouldn't break that up.
