Btw my comments about Baba being shit are sarcastic, I just can't wrap my mind around his situation if he isn't injured. Doesn't Ivanovic at his age at this point of the season having played as much as he has, need a rest once in a while? Oh well, we won so can't complain much, but I just don't understand it. This is the greatest mystery ever for me. Blue Armour and Blue-in-me-Veins

Today, Kennedy, RLC and Traore finally got their much deserved game time..., so step forward in the right direction perhaps with Baba getting in on the act? Tomo 21,751
It's gone a bit unnoticed due to the desperation for Ivanovic toΒ beΒ dropped but aside from Dynamo Kiev at home, Baba hasn't been very good atall when he has played. He's young so hes got time yes, but right now taking off Ivanovic and putting Baba in will only result in one change and that's theΒ side of the pitchΒ that opposition managers will target. No, we will finally move Azpi to RB, that means that attacking wise we will be allot stronger, Baba is really fast andΒ good crosser, and if Costa gonna stay in the box, we will see alot of headers. Azpi in Rb is gonna attack better, put more crosses with his right, not trying to try something with his left or just try to put the ball on his right. Not sure I agree entirely. Baba needs minutes on the pitch, he's adjusting to a league that is played at a frenetic pace and was also asked to be apart of a squad that lost its identity, not exactly the easiest thing to walk in on... I think he will come good but its hard to see that come to fruition given the limited looks he's getting.

Azpi struggles go in forward is widely exaggerated and wasmore down to instructions by Jose, since Guus has come in he's nearly scored twice and provided Ruben with an assist. 1 hour ago, Chelsea Legend 11 said: Not sure I agree entirely. I defiantly agree, but right now he's struggling and easing him in This season is the right thing, you only need to see Scott Carson as proof of how one bad moment even can affect a career, if I had the choice between Ivan or Baba getting torn apart by wingers right now, id choose Ivan, hes in the twilight of his career, Baba having regular bad experiences could affect him going forward. Stats 7,142
There is no player section for Jay Dasilva but hopefully someone makes one soon as I cba but Dasilva is going to be a top LB and hopefully at us. He was up against Andros Townsend tonight and performed very well. Townsend caused him a few problems which should be expected of and had a good game but Jay was quality in his own way as well. Put in a couple great tackles and scored an absolute great goal with his weaker foot. Game ended 5-4 to us. Brilliant game. Probably not ready for first team right now but in future, he has got all the capabilities to be a top LB. Watched him several times in the U21 and regularly impresses me. Very diminutive though but hopefully that is not too much of a problem. Wrote it in here because Baba is also young and a LB Muzchap and The Skipper

Jay got my vote. His talent is immense but there is no escaping the fact that his diminutive stature increases the challenge he faces in breaking through. My selection didn't change the fact that, between them, Jay and Charlie Colkett collected less than 1.5% of the nominations in that poll. This suggests to me that most of the votes were cast by people who don't actually watch our development squads play. The thing is because it is rare for our talented youth players to break through, many don't bother to look out for our prospects and listen out for the one talked most by fellow supporters and the media. If Jay was taller I would have him as a definite to make it tbh and although he is a tough nut, he struggles against really powerful and direct wingers. Going forward he is excellent and bar when he is up against powerful wingers, his defensive game his generally strong. I don't think Colkett will make it too. He is a talented young player but I think his game is too limited to make it at us. He would struggle with the pace of the PL, imo and would certainly not be ready for a few years. I see a similar player to Josh but difference is Josh is good with the ball whereas Colkett is pretty much a dictater. Actually similar to Baker in some ways but not on his level. Baker is stronger as well. Will be interesting though. There are several talented players in the youth team. Palmer is impressing me more and more this season and has stepped up in Boga's absence.
