We won't solve our problems by throwing money at them. But replacing players in order to change our approach might be a step in the right direction. Getting players like Willian, Ivanovic, Cahill out of the starting lineup and replacing them with people like Cuadrado who really fit our team and give us something extra without losing balance might just be worth those huge sums.

Am I the only one that likes Willian? And the only one that hasn't completely given up on Cahill after a few poor games?

I'm watching this guy live on TV, his team-work is impressive but I really doubt he will bring something special to our squad. imo

If by special you mean scoring lot of goals by himself like Reus then yh he is not gonna bring anything

He sure does draw a lot of fouls.

He's basically playing a free role here. Roaming in the #10 position rather than playing out wide like we'd have him doing. Doesn't really make use off his skill set playing in this position.

It's hard to judge him as a winger when he plays basically a free-roaming second striker like today. When he plays so high up the pitch, he doesn't track back much and doesn't participate in the build up. Though it's still pretty obvious he's not like Willian.

He makes many runs and draws fouls. And yeah, he's fast.

So he is more like Hazard, I am fine with that :D

Didn't Mourinho say he doesn't fit well in the Chelsea squad? Probably because he stays out wide a lot which would give Ivanovic little room to attack. What a shame that would be.

Iva must start to defend more! he can't leave cahill alone all the time.

cahill is shit enough. no need to make his life even more difficult.

he meant he doesn't fit into the squad because he is not owned by chelsea. Just a way of distancing from rumours
