Juan Cuadrado

One thing is for sure: if he comes, Hazard won't be the only one who gets kicked a lot.

I like him. Sign him up.

It will be so much harder to defend us if we have hazard and cuadrado on the flanks. Yellow cards for defenses and hazard won't have much burden to drive the team forward with dribbles

Or yellow cards for Cuadrado instead. He has many genuinely positive attributes to his game, but he is also a VERY frequent (and often blatant) diver.

Watch Willian and then watch this lad. Willian will slow counter attacks down 70 percent of the time, this lad is much more direct and gets at people a hell of a lot more. I can see a difference just watching him in two games

Absolutely.

Cuadrado will bring a creative spark of energy to the team. It's almost a certainty that his acquisition will oil the cogs on that right flank. The void that accommodates the lacklustre offensive ability which Willian possesses could finally be relinquished. Not only this, but you sense he has a real urgency to score, to win. He is direct and is almost always ready to pull the trigger.

Albeit the corner vs Newcastle, Willian seems to switch off sometimes and can disconnect himself from the game. At times, he comes across as somewhat apathetic. Unacceptable for a team that boasts the current stature of Chelsea.

Signing this player is a tantalising prospect which could lead to some amazing things. Fingers crossed.

I am not convinced by his defensive side though, tonight didn't see him press that much(not as much as Willian anyway) but going forward he is fantastic. Oh and he is faster than Willian, that is not even debatable.

He is aso stronger and more combative. Reminds me of Alexis, just with more pace and worse finish.

Teams like Bayern or Barcelona wanted him to play in the FB position, not as a winger. As a winger he is interesting, as a FB for some teams he can be the best in the world.

I would buy him but he is far from impressive, and he is not a lot better than Willian for example, he is just different.

More combative? Possibly. But stronger? He seems to get eased off the ball a little too frequently for my liking.

To me he looks less like Sanchez and (much) more like Di Maria in terms of both his playing-style and body-type.

He's stronger than Di Maria for sure.

Sanchez gets eased off the ball regardless of his body type.

Sky Sports News HQ understands discussions are still ongoing over a potential move for Cuadrado to Stamford Bridge before the deadline. #CFC

Cuadrado's deal is believe to also hinge on the potential exits from west London of Mohamed Salah AND Andre Schurrle (Sky) #CFC

Regardless, Cuadrado does not have a low centre of gravity like Sanchez and Hazard do, and so is less able to ride strong challenges; he relies much more on pure speed and agility (like Di Maria does when dribbling).
