Interesting. With Cech probably leaving in June, I wonder who will be brought in/promoted to be our no2

We would have signed a new number two when Cech left anyway, if Tibo got injured asking a 43 year old to play a run of games would be too much physically.

Furthermore I don't think he was that good for us anyway, nice guy but if Hilario put in the performances Mark did against Sunderland and home to Leti (the two games that derailed our season) this place would have been like feeding time in the Zoo.

Decent enough for a number 3, but I think he's too far past it to be number 2 here.

Thanks for helping to save football at Anfield, Mark!

What a great professional. With Chelsea he recorded his 150th and 151st PL clean sheets, putting him third in the all-time list. He kept eight clean sheets in twelve games.

Quite gutted by this as he's an ideal number 3, what's interesting is what will his position be at Leicester.

Im assuming Schmeichel will remain number one when fit, so is he jumping above Hamer in the pecking order?

Would make no sense to swap being Chelsea number 3 for Leicester number 3, with all due respect to the Foxes.

Or even their no 2.

He's better than both of them IMO.

Apart from the following clubs - Tottenham, Manchester City, Manchester United and perhaps Arsenal, he'd have a very, very good chance at being number 1 at any other Premier League club.

Good luck to Mark. He was great when he deputised last season and he didn't moan this season despite being 3rd choice. Sad to see him go but happy if he can get more playing time.
