If anyone is still feeling upset, just put on the Arsenal match!

They're just so hilarious to read when he clearly was one of our better players today

no need to mince words there. he was not "one of our better players". he was the 2nd best player on the pitch after DD.

For sure

Like Gary Neville said, speculative shooting is a massive no no when chasing a game.

We did the absolute no-nos in the last few minutes of the game really. Never mind the speculative efforts, we were just hoofing the ball somewhat aimlessly and hoping to pick up the second balls. Nothing intricate or be a little bit more composed on the ball.

It's really funny. People are using double standarts for some players. For example, Ivan is having a bad game - drop him on the bench, he is bad, etc... Hazard is playing bad - he is tired... No comment. Maybe Ivan is tired too? Never thought about that?

Well the difference is that Ivanovic's replacement (Azpi/Luis) are in many people's opinion better than him. We know Hazard played poorly but there is nobody in our team who can replace him - he is an undroppable and rightfully so. Why is Ivanovic one when most of our goals are conceded down his side and because of him (in part anyway)?

We looked much more likely to score with the hoof ball tactics, to be fair. Drogba is a still a beast in the air and we could well have scored from one of the subsequent chances if Costa's first touch had been any good or if Schurrle was played in.

Yes but one could argue that we became predictable with the approach. Newcastle were pretty comfortable in dealing with the long balls. In fact, considering they were down to 10 men then, they must be delighted when we started doing that rather than trying to play around them a little bit.

Exactly. We need to come up with something new.

Do you think we even practise playing against 10 men in training? Against City and Newcastle we didn't make our 1-man advantage count at all even though it really is a significant opportunity.

I never thought that Chelsea would lose this game after watching the 1st half, but Cahill should get a fucking grip. He is a liabilty these days, can't remember a single game in which he was solid from min 1 to 90. Always the same story with him, goes full retard when you least expect it... Maybe this is a wake up call and Mourinho will at least give a chance to a back four of Azpi Brana JT and Filipe.

Still top of the league and that's all what matters, hope Everton will snatch a draw, but I doubt it.

Onwards and upwards!

I swear every big side has won easy at SJP for the last 3 season's except us?

Arsenal won there last year and before, City have won the last 4 there atleast, fucking Spurs AND United won 4-0 there last season.

It's the same story at Villa Park, Arsenal or United haven't been beaten there for over a decade.
