I'm not trying to blame it all on Fabregas, but he really needs to learn how to play these matches like Newcastle today and Sunderland a weeks time back. He wants to look for the killer through ball and that's great, but ffs, when you are against a team with 10 men behind the ball you can't do that. It's all about moving it around quickly then, not having 10 touches before passing it sideways as you realize there's no options in front of you.

Mourinho also needs to wake the fuck up here. Willian is not nearly as useful against these teams as he can be in the big matches. Schurrle got his long shot and is a lot more direct, why not have him on some earlier? Same goes for Drogba who just wins all headers in the box. I love Costa as much as anyone else, but when there's as little movement from Chelsea around him as today, and the opponent have a lot of strong guys in the box, there isn't much he can do.
