what does Mikel offer? Really? What the fuck does he do every time he is brought on to help defend a lead? I know it isn't solely down to him but he offers absolutely nothing. Robbing a living at this club

Every time I watch Mikel play I bemoan us not signing Tiago so much. He can actually dictate the tempo unlike Mikel.

That being said, Ivanovic should have won a penalty or else he would have tapped the ball in. The first booking he received was not even close to being a yellow card. Then the second yellow..... Is never never yellow! He lost his footing... Di Maria was gonna cross it in he wasn't in on goal. A dead ball opportunity to cross it in is more of an advantage anyways...And then Dowd waits for about 30 seconds and as soon as he's pressured by the fans, he caves and sends off Ivanovic. He did the same to Hazard when he booked him. It was a yellow card but he waited, walked away... fans yelled at him and then he eventually books him.

Piss poor performance from the referee. Referee's are deciding where the points go more and more lately and its fucked up!

Says it all about the present day Man United that they were celebrating like they won with a draw.

Ofcourse, have you seen their team currently ? This was a big game for them and they outplayed a much better side. So no wonder they are happy.

Not even Dowd thought so to be fair. He gave a yellow.

I'll never understand Jose's insistence with having his team sit back when only a goal up. It's a tactic that's based on 'hope' - hoping that the opposition can't work out an opening, hoping that the defenders don't make a mistake, hoping that the ref doesn't make a wrong call. You're not controlling the game that way. 4 points now lost from wining positions against City and Utd. Shame.

All that and we're six points clear of the team who most likely will threaten us for the title.

You people need to get a grip, points at trafford and Etihad is good. Why on earth would we open up at tough grounds and allow teams to come at us with numbers?

The idea was to invite them to come forward and break with pace. It almost worked

Wow. Really starting to question whether many in here know football.

Parked the bus? José getting it wrong? We totally dominated them and controlled the game for a huge portion of that second half. We're playing in one of then most difficult places to play AND combating awful refereeing and we were seconds away from taking the 3 points.

Should've had a pen and Didier should've scored that chance on the edge of the box on the Oscar pullback. We protected our goal brilliantly and calmly soaked up their late pressure. Perfectly played until the free kick.

As José just said in his post match, it was a great away performance. We had a 36 year old striker leading the line who has barely trained and our 2 best players in Hazard and Fábregas were quiet.
