killer1257 3,282
Thought Remy was pretty average against City and kept on losing the ball rather cheaply. Took his goal well though, from the only service he got in the entire game.He is a decent BU for Costa and he could have been better, yes, but he gets not many minutes,so it is to be expected that he will lose the ball very easily.Give him some more games and I am quite sure that he will do better. RoyalBlues 4,050
unbelievable his goal ratio, considering how short he get the playing time. Muzchap
DH1988 1,348
Looked shattered too early, result of us not rotating enough but did enough for me today. Pleased.

Parky 739
Played well. He is a perfect backup to Costa. Maybe can be a bit more physical but proving his worth. killer1257
Bir_CFC 3,455
Gotta hand it to him. Inconsistent playing time but somehow still ends up scoring a goal even time he plays.
Barbara 15,149
Always scores when he plays... that's what strikers are for, so I'm very pleased he did it once again.I said a couple of weeks ago (this thread, Costa thread, can't remember) that I could see him being this season's Ba. Last season Ba started playing more frequently in the second half of the season and was used in many matches towards the very end.DD had a good moment while both Remy and Costa were injured and he carried on the good form, so it was expected for Mou to give him more playing time. I said I expect this equation to be reversed now and I think that's going to start now with Costa's suspension.Given the circumstances and how our midfield was absolutely invisible and ineffective, I think he did just fine even when we put the goal apart. yuvala and Muzchap
Daniel1980 1,425
Credit to Remy. It's hard to score so consistently when you barely get the playing time. Remy scored 1.05 goals per 90 minutes in the Champions League+PLCosta scored 0.81 goals per 90 minutes in the Champions League+PLCosta had better watch out. manpe 10,861
Remy is an absolutely brilliant backup for Costa. I couldn't imagine a better backup to be honest. And most importantly - he has goals in him. You know whenever he's playing, there is a goal in him, just create the chance. From last year to this year, our striking options have improved the most BY FAR. Muzchap and Barbara

Muzchap 8,966
He's a great backup that will benefit immensely from the next 180 mins of playing time Its also a good position for the club - as Remy can score and will find some nice form going into the business end of the season Kieran. and zolayes

Special Juan 28,141
Really should start v Villa. Like the Zouma situation there is no need to drop either of these lads. Pizy
lionsden 4,689
For me He's and has always been far more technical than Costa which reflects his all round game. Costa however is a better finisher obviously. Muzchap
