Diego Costa

21st century where players have us scaring over their fate because of an Instagram post.

He's staying. Very certain of it. We would be stupid to let him go now. Real won't sell Morata and Lukaku...no please that ship has already sailed. And there are no other options but those 2 in my book.

I think he's going, not just by this latest happening but what I have read in the last weeks.

I think Lukaku is his replacement.

Oh dear. It's not Diego leaving that scares me the most, it's Romelu fucking Lukaku leading our line. Fuck my life if this happens.

Despite that I've had this feeling all summer that Costa will stay. Tbh the most reliable sources have said he'll stay so there is that.

Same here bruv. APPARENTLY hes been in touch with Simeone asking him to hold on getting Gameiro. It sounds like hes had talks with Chelsea and we've told him he can go as long as we get a top replacement.

Meh. I think it's just a bit of poor written English. Don't think there's anything in it.

Like I said last night, with an injury prone player like Diego who's doing double sessions everyday and traveling around the US you don't necessarily want to push him too much before the real season starts.

This scares me. Costa is one of the very few world class players we have. Could it be Adidas just taking the piss? I hope so.

He REALLY isn't. Eden is the only world class player we have. Maybe Thibaut and Cesc at their best. But Costa isn't even close.

I fully agree with this. Costa for me is a very good forward, he was excellent the season before last and even last season pulled us out the mire a few times.

I see players such as Aguero and Suarez a millions miles ahead of him, in fact a long way.

Obvious that Diego is a World Class striker, since 2012 comes in very large developments. The 2013/14 season was fantastic, if placed between the best strikers in the world, came to Chelsea and made a very good season (which could have been better if it wasn't for the injuries and suspensions), last season he was bad, ok, but who didn't? All had a year below what can. And yet it was the most effective player (goals + assists) team, and is only behind Kane and Aguero in numbers of goals in the last two seasons of the PL, imagine if Chelsea was fine?
Available on the market there's nobody worth changing for him, the team would suffer a decay absurd if he really were sold. As a matter of fact that should never be considered, has so much junk on the team, one of the last names to enter the list of sales would be the second best, and important, player in the squad.

Let's not forget Costa was only talking about getting better with the team next season yesterday - http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/chelsea-striker-diego-costa-we-cant-do-worse-than-last-season-we-have-to-be-in-a-better-position-a3306096.html

So, I don't see why he would say all that if he was going to leave in the first place. That said, I would be lying if I said I'm not worried at the slightest.

Think Hazard's comments are much more concerning than Diego's vague picture. Hazard is literally irreplaceable whereas I genuinely think Lukaku could match Costa's output rather easily.

Aren't you lot overreacting for a simple picture? He's no English Ph.D. I've had to deal with illiterates my whole life (Diego is such a manner of person when it comes to English. I'm sure his Spanish is perfect.), I know how to read illiterate, he doesn't mean he's leaving.
What's disconcerting, however, it's him being left out last night, but there are a million possible answers to that.

He'll play probably play against Madrid on Saturday.

if he stays I'm gonna back him as top scorer, he should be fresh after not being involved in euros & no champions league & with a point to prove.
