He is only a good player for half a season, and he is getting more and more inconsistent. For at least one half of a season it is a crap feeling relying on him to score goals. Apart from the 2009/10 season we did not really have a player to score significantly more than 20 goals in the league. As long as Lamps, Mata and then Hazard provided a goal threat from midfield, this is not too bad, but I would feel much more at ease if we had a striker in the ink of Kane, Agüero or Sanchez, who can make chances for themselves, score consistently over the season and do not have a significant dyscrepancy in their scoring behaviour in big games and not so big games. Supermonkey92 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Now we will have player who wants to rejoin with Atletico for at least next six months which means he wont be fully 100% with us, then in january or next summer, he will be older, with just one year left and wanting to leave, nevermind maybe in poor form; that will give us zero negotiation power. Besides who does Atleti have that we would be desperately needing? Griezmann is not coming, Koke or Saul aint the players we realy need in midfield.
