Asked if he sees himself at Chelsea next season, he said: "100 per cent. I am not thinking about anything else than challenging myself here.

"Sometimes it's so easy, you don't play two games, you get frustrated and upset and want to move somewhere else, but for me it's the opposite; I want to challenge myself.

"It's been shown in many games this year, even when I have come on for five minutes, I have done something to make a change in the team," he said.

"Now I am playing much more than at the start of the season and hopefully I am changing the manager's mind a little bit and can get many more starts."

Fabregas' contributions have been Dzeko-lite in City's 2014 PL Title win. (I'd say both Fabregas & Pedro combined). He's a fantastic end-product machine, and getting players of his quality to accept Squad Roles are a dime a dozen. 

Also, Kante and Fabregas were meant to play together.

At first I was certain for him to be sold (or at least not play in first 11) and instead get someone like Verratti, but since the later wont be available and if cesc keeps playing like this, we might just try to play 3 man midfield with Cesc Kante and another Kante type player next season.

Most importantly to me he showed the most desire. You read him saying that he wants to stay and fight for his place, normally it's the politically correct thing for dead men walking to say, but you really believe him and see it when he plays. He tries so hard to be useful on both ends and today he was. Undisputed motm for me.

Don't think it has to do with the overall 'strength' of the team,...rather, it depends on the type of team (and their strategy) we play against.

If you look at the City game this season, he was very influential.

He just needs some players around him in midfield to relieve pressure and do the dirty work. Enter Kante, Pedro, Matic, Willian.

I would be surprised if Conte wasn't paying attention to those runs.

Fabregas is easily our biggest goal threat from central midfield. And that's an asset to any top team.

Has his flaws, but he offers a completely different dynamic to our midfield. I personally see him becoming our Pirlo with Kante & a summer buy doing his running for him should he stay.

Tell ya mate it was great to see him come out on the pitch. Even up in MH you could see he was up for it and peeps around me were saying it too.

Watching him took me back to going to see him at Highbury. Theres got to be a way to utilize him more whether its in a 3 man CM or a 352 I dunno but the way he played would be a crime not to use him more.
