Sideshow Luiz 2,310
He's the only one in our midfield even remotely interested in passing the ball forwards. communicate, Mufassir08 and Unionjack

But creative players are only as good as the players they cab get the ball to. If they dont shift their arses and find space then who can they pass it to seeing as we dint have abyone but Eden who can take the nall with him Im relying on Rossy to change us which is a worry lol

Jase 43,479
Have been saying this a lot this season and will say it again - what is the point of Fabregas these days? Why is he even still at the club? Are we keeping him here because of his passes? His passing has been absolute trash and if we take that part out of the equation, what does he offer? Whenever he has to defend, he doesn't even bust a gut to put in the effort. Just jogged around waiting for others to do his work and nothing exemplified that more than the second Watford goal. He wants a new contract? Tell him to go piss off! El P., bigbluewillie and Azpinator

Sir Mikel OBE 4,920
Theres video of him staring as Silva holds the ball in front of him, and passes back. Â I won't post it out of respect, but if that were Bakayoko we'd have pages slating him for such lack of effort. the wes

bigbluewillie 1,930
For me Fabregas can get in the same cab as Conte, Drinkwater, Bakayoko, right now the wes
Styles 9,790
If walking football was a thing Fabregas would be top 5 in the world. As it stands, he would struggle to make the benches of the truly elite European clubs. bigbluewillie, the wes and Amblève.

Azpinator 2,325
I don't know which is worse: His current level or the fact that his competition is Bakayoko and Drinkwater. I think time's up for him. Reminds me of when Ballack, Carvalho, Deco and Belletti all lost it by the end of the 2010 season.
WNDS 502
I think his time as an important player for us is coming to a close. The compromises that have to be made to accommodate him are simply no longer worth the hastle: if Kante isn't available, we find ourselves setting-up like we did against Man City, and even if Kante IS available, the team has to scrabble desperately to cover for him. If he was creating chance after chance for us, then things would be different, but its become this vicious circle in which Fabregas' opportunities to direct attacking play are limited due to the cautious set-ups that we tend to employ to compensate for his presence in the middle of the pitch, meaning that we effectively remove the reason for him to be included in the team..... all so that we can include him in the team; it makes no sense at this point. I'd be more than happy for him to remain here as a squad player, however (returning to a role similar to that which he occupied last season); I'm just not so sure that he'll be of the same mindset. Cosmin 2,484
Time to say goodbye. Too slow, too many mistakes.
Beigl 1,387
He is clearly past his best. He was never an athletic player, but nowadays his passing distribution is average so he basically offers the team next to nothing. We need an upgrade for him, because as great as Kante is, he can´t always cover the deficiencies of Cesc.
manpe 10,861
He was much better when he arrived 4 years ago. He looks over the hill now, time to cut him loose or reduce his role next season. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk  Agree with you mate, but I think we need 2 MF players, to replace Fabregas, Drinkwater, and Bakayoko. And what is it with Barkley? seems to me Blue Scouse knew what they were doing when they got rid of him. He's permanently in the treatment room.
coolhead23 1,147
For a creative player, he just cannot make the passes needed to split the defenders ... clearly going down. Was running like a headless chicken most of the time yesterday.
