Miracle 249
watched him today. nothing great. ofcourse, this is the only game i've seen of him and i don't know much about him but from what i've seen, i would say he's another Mineiro. to be fair, the whole team was being pegged back by Al AhlyCompletely agree but there are a lot of rumors going on about Paulinho.http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/dec/11/chelsea-paulinho-club-world-cuphttp://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/chelsea-transfer-gossip-paulinho-of-corinthians-1484888
robsblubot 3,595
thought Paulinho was a carbon copy of Ramires (as player characteristics go). Isn't that the case?
Land 331
Paulinho is a better passer and goalscorer than Ramires. He was bad today but he was really impressive with the Brazillian NT in all of his past games. Was huge vs Colombia and Japan. Leif 6,006
I think....what do I think.I think that we deserve to be amongst the best teams in the world. I can't imagine Paulinho developing into one of the best midfielders in the world. I believe he'd be a decent squad player for around £5mil - but there's no way we'd be getting him for that.If this was Football Manager, I'd offer £1mil plus loan them some random youngster so we could loan him in for the season to cover for our CDM's. The Mak 4,459
Came in here expecting to be educated about Paulinho, so I started on page 1 and worked my way here, and all I've learned is the official name of the Brazilian league and that Italy have a bad economy....So this is for 90% of you:

OneMoSalah 8,887
All he done was kick lumps out of our midfield, if we wanted a shit player who could kick lumps out of people we would ask Roy Keane to come out of retirement.

lucio 5,418
well we could do with more protection for our defense. and we are also linked with moutinho. if we got both that should solve our midfield issues.
The Mak 4,459
OFF TOPICAll he done was kick lumps out of our midfield, if we wanted a shit player who could kick lumps out of people we would ask Roy Keane to come out of retirement.Just saw this...ha.As much as I hate United, Roy Keane was an absolute midfield general. Maybe you're a little too young to remember the player, instead of the youtube clips of his red cards, so i'll forgive you.I'll just leave this here...oh, and do note Edgar Davids and a little player called Zinedine Zidane in the opposing midfield. Not really, because Paulinho will neither add the defense protection a DM would nor the passing and creativity a DLP would. He is the type of player we dont currently use!Paulinho is really good, but we dont need him. He is not the type of player to play on a 4-2-3-1, specially when you dont have a player like Ralf (that kills himself to defend and get possession back) alongside him.Our best pairing is a proper DM (Capoue, Mikel, Chalobah, etc) and a great DLP (Modric, Moutinho, Benat, Oscar, etc)... LondonPride1905 236
If this guy can be put in Mikel's place and "kill" for the ball, then YES. We need either a DLP that stays infront of the defense and takes the ball to give it upfront or a real Anchor Man.
