It is only a matter of time ... In a few days we will have signed him.

It's not like when Steven Gerrard preferred to stay in Liverpool because Liverpool was the team of his life. Everton is a small team and Stones knows that Chelsea is a big team with a consolidated project and capable of leading the English football over the next decade. Everton has no chance to convince him: Chelsea, Mourinho, Champions League, trophies, London....

It's just a matter of time.

Regards.

And Terry. He said in a declarations that he admires Stones, and Stones said the same about Terry in another inverview. Would be a great master - pupil relation.

It will happen. If Stones has any type of ambition he will push for the transfer.

Mourinho said: ‘At the moment they say: “We don’t accept this bid”. They don’t say: “We don’t accept bids; any bids”. While they say, “We don’t accept this bid” until September 1, we can improve the bid: £1 more, £10 more, we can improve the bid.

‘If one day Roberto Martinez or the chairman says: “He’s not for sale; we don’t accept any bid”, game over. So during this process, it’s clear, we don’t deny we made a bid for Stones. It means we are trying to buy.’

Think we'll get him. Reading the mirror and daily mail interviews with jose I think stones might be our last signing tbh

Mourinho said CB, MID & Forward. If we get Stones then we have our forward also, so that leaves one more signing.....Pedro?

If Stones possesses any small bit of ambition he will want to join Chelsea. He can stay with Everton and the little whinger of a manager, but he will regret it for the rest of his career. He wont win trophies at Everton and he wont improve as a player either as he wont have anyone to mentor him because he's the best at that club already. Stevie G made that mistake and stayed at Pool but he never won the trophy he craved, and he knew that he would have won a few Premierships with us.

Therefore, I would like to introduce our new number 6......John Stones.....Com'n son, you know it makes sense :blue scalf:
