BlueLion. 21,491
2 goals all season from willian and 3 assists is unacceptable, same goes to Oscar, our team is set up to get goals from the midfield and they are not doing so. Only Hazard has his place justified. Barbara
Cosmin 2,484
We got back a decent result tonight that's going to send Chelsea further. Anything else? How can you be so sure about it? And what if we would've scored more than just one goal in the first half, considering all the chances that we've had? It's like people forget who we are, sometimes. We are Chelsea FC, not Tottenham or, I don't know, Everton. Some of you are way too happy with way too less, no offence. The Chels
CHOULO19 24,332
That's only half of the truth. The fan must always support the team, ok, but he can also request some things. Like decent football, for example. That's why people on stadiums boo, sometimes, when they don't agree with the way their teams are playing. Yes, you must get behind your team no matter what, but you can also expect to get something back from it now and then. And that's fair, in my opinion."Decent football" implies that there is only one way of playing football, and then you compare to it and decide what is decent and what is not. Obviously that is completely wrong, because the rules allow for infinite styles and approaches to football. As for what you can ask from your team, as far as I'm concerned, the only thing you, as a supporter, can ask is for the players to come out, give 110% effort and do everything in their power for the team to win, which is the aim of football. Booing your team when they get a good result defeats the purpose of sport.

In my opinion, what Chelsea played in the last few games is not decent football. It is pathetic, boring to death football. In my opinion, I insist. Mind you, we didn't win tonight. I don't think our players gave 110% effort at all.
Chels 238
Why snivel now? I'm asking nothing more than that, so how am I not proper supporter and gloryhunter? Beign satisfied with "not good" performance is wrong imo, not because result matters, but because we all want the same(atleast i hope), we want chelsea improving don't we? Charlie C 19
The Terry situation was fucked up, he clearly stole our goal.Otherwise Mancini made a wrong decision by playing a 4222, instead of a 4-1-3-2, but he saw that at least early than late.I think we still have a good chance, we're able to score a goal at the Bridge. I expect a 1-1 and a 2-1 in ET for Cimbom.See you in London. cimbomgalatasaray and firakti

However, you can't go labeling the football you like as "decent football" and everything else as pathetic, because as we just agreed on, there is no one way to play football. That's like saying there are decent cultures, or beliefs and anything different is pathetic. It's self-righteous crap. I agree that some players didn't give 110% today, but overall, the worked hard and defended well and managed to grind out a decent result from a difficult place, so I'm content. Popular Post! Rmpr 8,977 Posted February 26, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted February 26, 2014 How many games this season have we played even decent football? Not many. It doesn't have to be amazing, but what we saw tonight was fucking cowardly. Where is the "evolution" in this team. What was the difference between that second half and the CL final against Bayern? Nothing much. And no neutral remembers that Chelsea side too fondly because of the turgid bullshit we played. If you ask me for my favourite game in the CL that season, I will go with Napoli at home, because we played with balls. We are basically an expensively assembled team that can string two passes together. Why? Why was Cech hoofing so many balls forward, even though we kept on losing aerial duels? This is a CL match. A match that the whole world watches (players of other teams, fans of other teams, football journalists, Roman, Roman's football loving friends, celebrity chelsea fans etc). We've parked the bus again, but we've packed it with Hazard, Willian, Schurrle and Torres. The so-called counter attack hardly ever worked in the second half and we had no plan B.I dont give a flying fuck what the "world" thinks of Chelsea! We are inconsistent, I will give you that. But to say we didnt have good games throughout this season is beyond pathetic, we had plently of good games (hence we are top of the table and the only English team with a good chance of advancing in Europe)...It´s funny how everyone keeps saying how absolutely horrific we were and that we are in crysis or whatever, yet we are the only club with comfortable results in the two competitions we are still playing! If you think this sort of games are only about results, then you're wrong. This is not some random PL game. A lot of football people watched this match and we were shit, again.WHAT???The Premier League is, by far, the best domestic competition in the entire planet. No game is just a random game. Being crowned champions of England is something to be extremely proud of. Any real Chelsea fan knows that! Many (including me) are way more excited about Chelsea winning the EPL than winning the UCL this season (especially since we already won it two years ago). Not a single rational soul would post such a stupid sentence like the one you did.Again, I couldnt care less how many people are watching the game. I only worry about The Blues having a chance of beating them at home so we can advance to the next round (which we do). Be that playing amazing football or not!
