DYC. 7,542
Brilliant tonight. Loved how proactive he was.He was following the ball a bit too much for me haha, but you have to love his enthusiasm. And it was understandable when you think about it, trying to impress the boss and all.Proper athlete this guy is. The Skipper

DYC. 7,542
Matic - 1.94 mZouma - 1.9 mThere's no way Zouma's only 190cm. He's huge. He has to be in that Cahill (193) and Matic (194) bracket. Some measurements seem off. Remy is listed at 185 cm, I always thought he was around 188cm. He has that Henry build.Cesc, listed at 175cm, looks more like 178/179, like Oscar (Willian is 175cm).Luis is listed at 188cm .Quite a few giants at Chelsea. Special Juan 28,141
Was great for the lad to come in last night and get a real feel of a game like that. I really like, and rate this lad. quickpassnmove

Popular Post! dee25 1,044 Posted December 4, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted December 4, 2014 I'm so flipping tired of seeing the look of sheer and utter despair on Cahill's face every time a player so much as runs at him with the ball. Zouma is still very raw, but his proactiveness and the way he imposed himself on Harry Kane was such a breath of fresh air.I would drop Cahill and play Zouma on Saturday.... but then again this is probably why I don't have a career in football. CHOULO19 24,332
Interesting to hear that after the match Steve Holland said that there was no thought of bringing Luis on for Cahill (and shifting Iva and Azpi) because Kurt has been training fantastically well for the past few weeks and his immense performance was not the least surprising for them because they knew that this is his current level.I wish that means he means he will be given a fair chance to contest with Cahill for the starting CB spot, but realistically I juts hope that he will be getting more time and hopefully starts against Derby and Sporting and in the busy Christmas period. boshman 1,073
I love the look of this guy. Fits in fantastically well when he gets his chance. I hope he gets more chances in the PL in the coming weeks. He deserves it. BlueLion. and DYC.
Barbara 15,149
Much better - not only better - but much better form than Cahill currently. Should cement his place in the team. It's not like Cahill doesn't expose us every match with a couple of stupid plays, so even if Zouma does the same, it wouldn't be tragic.I'd rather see than Cahill any day. I was never convinced of Cahill's quality to start with. I thought there was a chance he was overachieving last season. It feels like it was the peak of his career and who knows if he'll be able to replicate that. The Skipper 20,609
Really happy with his development but I'm not surprised. Once he fully settles in he'll definitely displace Cahill. dee25 and Barbara

CHOULO19 24,332
I really think Kurt is someone who, might not become worldcalss, but could become a fan favorite in the future. He's just got that something special about him: a mix of passion and charisma and willingness to get involved in the game. Don't know, I can just feel something about him.
