He was better today than in the other few games. He seemed more direct, had some good touches and used his right a bit more. His problem is that he's too left footed and doesn't mix it up enough. He's really quick and will get better.

He looks bright on the ball, but his decisions are terrible. Dribbles and dribbles and then makes poor pass every damn time. Willian is similar. I would love some more intelligence on right side, but I hope this works fine.

Possible but teams like ours need players that are fine with not being starters. Chelsea have Hazard, Willian, Oscar, Schurrle, Fabergas and Ramires who will play at attacking midfield during the season. You want a little more depth and flexibility but that player won't play much so there's no point spending 40M pounds on your 6th attacking midfielder. There's no value there at all. You need someone like Salah (or Moses) to be able to play sporadically and still have enough quality to help the team. Don't expect him to be a superstar, but he can still be very useful for us.

He is a good squad player. He is still young and can finish well, just that inconsistency and decision making that he lacks, which will come with age and experience. Be patient with him, he shows he is willing to fight and work hard without complaining.

IMO he still needs to improve his control over ball when he accelerates. Also, shooting might have been slightly better today in terms of accuracy (on one occasion), but still needs to improve in terms of power.

i say hazard,shurrle can do better work on the attacking side than salah but not willian, salah's pace make him more danger for defenders and his will to score higher than willian so if not shurrle in place of salah i 'd rather play with salah, also ramires,oscar and fabergas got different roles and position at bench

As an attacker, I'd take Salah over Willian too but Willian is a better fit for the way Chelsea play and is a more complete player. Besides, Mourinho clearly loves him. Bottom line is that if Salah plays well, there are lots of opportunities for him to get playing time but I still have a hard time seeing him as anything more than the 5th or 6th choice at attacking midfield.

His decision making and final ball let him down IMO. Having watched him many times, it is clear he can finish and makes great runs, but he needs to improve his overall game.

I personally hope he can learn things from the people around him, and become an important player for Chelsea.
