Popular Post! Beepu 1,714 Posted April 5, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted April 5, 2014 I'm liking this guy already, really fast, skilled, hard working and has a great shot. I was worrying about his physicality against stoke but he did great. Also liked the fact that he seems happy when he contributes to the team, like goals, assists, getting that penalty, he just looks happy.I am excited to see him playing more and being more involved next season, he will be better once he has more time to adapt. Popular Post! DYC. 7,542 Posted April 5, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted April 5, 2014 I've read people rave about the speed of Ramires, Willian, Hazard and others before them over the years but Salah is really what you call a speedster. Incredible pace, wow. By far the fastest player since Robben for Chelsea. Hope he'll turn out to be about more than just raw speed. Chelsea Legend 11 4,062
Man of the match. I thought he had better technique than he displayed today. Popular Post! HD3D 1,038 Posted April 5, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted April 5, 2014 Salah hasn't been given many chances since he's come to Chelsea but so far he has grasped the few chances he was given, similarly to how Willian did. I predict he will gradually get more and more chances until he becomes a regular like Willian. Now compare Salah's attitude to that of KDB. He comes on and runs his ass off. Makes a tremendous effort to be a part of the game. De Bruyne would come on for 10 minutes, do nothing and then people would complain Jose was to blame for not giving him more time.Real players make the most out of what they have, even if what they have isn't much. Jambo 231
Man of the match. I thought he had better technique than he displayed today. Still a player to watch as the months unfold, great first start. It came in touches and spells but he's not really match sharp at the moment. More game time at the top level I am sure he will be an important player and we will see more of what he has to offer.

I think Oscar needs to be really careful now, especially if he is drained to death after WC and starts next season in terrible form like atm then he might become another Mata. Mohammed Seif 1,451
Ok objectively speaking now . He had a good game and played well. I don't know if anyone can put a judgement on him yet. I was against people who critcized him after playing less than 45 mins in three matches. So only to be fair I am not going to get too hyped. Today was definitely a great start from him. I am happy for him. I think there is A LOT to still work on. And I think I will need more games from him like this to say he has the right to start regularly. Like Oscar, Schurrle and Hazard he is still young. They all have great potential, and they will go through phases of inconsistencies. I just hope they all keep progressing and reach a high level at their game. I also hope that when one drops in form, the others would maintain theirs. I sure want Oscar to bounce back. These lads will learn a lot from each other and if they progress, their chemistry and link ups will be outstanding. Popular Post! The Skipper 20,609 Posted April 5, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted April 5, 2014 Really good today. Was against this signing from the start (but I never criticised him like some ridiculously did after a few minutes he had for us) because I thought he wouldn't offer us much this season but he's proving me wrong so far, growing really quickly in confidence. He's only 21, his development over the next 2 seasons is vital. Could be a diamond in the rough for us ATM. Blue Armour 4,439
Initially thought that this guy was all about pace, but he does have a good head on his shoulders...kept thing ticking, and always made the right, simple decisions to build up our attack....And yet another hard worker for the team with his pressing...looks like a real bargain. Popular Post! Barbara 15,149 Posted April 5, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted April 5, 2014 We cant afford any of the remaining games without Hazard starting. We're hopeless without him and we really cant throw away any of the games.I would have agreed with you if I had seen this post prior to the match, both of us were proved wrong...*******************************************************************************************************************He was simply great today. He's exactly the kind of player we need for the system to work. He linked up with Willian very well and I'd definitely have more matches with both starting in upcoming EPL matches. We don't know if they'll carry their level, but it was a lovely combination. The boy is a joy to watch. He didn't get intimidated by the responsibility, he stepped up and brought his A game, even if he's barely played for us so far. That shows a lot of character - the kind I think we've been missing. I'm very, very happy with his presentation, attitude, and how well he fits our system.I think he's going to be one of the key players come next season if he continues his adaptation so well. It's hard to pick someone to leave the team so Eden plays, but by elimination that should be Schurrle - who didn't have a bad match imo, but wasn't up par with the other two AMs. Oscar though shouldn't be a titular on Tuesday and I'm positive with this victory and hopefully having the players playing on Tuesday to emulate what we did today + Eto'o, I think we actually have good chances. It won't be easy, especially with that third goal scored in Paris, but I think Salah showed the way to our wings and Willian should be the #10 - at least for now. Popular Post! Bir_CFC 3,455 Posted April 5, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted April 5, 2014 Very impressed by him. Coming from the swiss league, I didn't think he would contribute at all this season but not only has he contributed when given a chance, he hasn't looked out of place at all amongst 30M players. I thought he would turn out to be Moses/Marin type player, but he's already shown he has a lot more in his locker than both combined. Wasn't so excited about him, but he's shown enough now to get me excited about his future. Plus, seems like a top lad too. yuvala, Mohammed Seif, kellzfresh and 6 others
Jambo 231
I agree it's hard to pick any time without Eden in it but we can't put all our hope of winning on one player. Maybe at a smaller team where they have a star player critical to their chances on success but at Chelsea (and others) it is a team of stars that have to work together for success. Pizy 18,905
Could've scored 3 if his touch was just a bit softer in a few instances. Even if he doesn't start many matches going forward he can be one hell of a weapon to unleash on tired sides. Muzchap and Styles
yuvala 2,167
I already knew he wasn't gonna be Moses mark II.Seeing him play a couple of times, I saw his great runs, good dribble, speed.. but what separates him from Moses is his intelligence.Oh and ahh.. yea, I was wrong to think we can't rest Hazard.
