Welcome.

You'll get no argument from anyone here about this, of course we have a great deal of catching up to do in terms of league titles. In fact in terms of pretty much whatever measure you choose your club is at the top, or near the top, of the list. What's more, no one can match your club for world wide support and possibly never will, you have a great manager, the basis of a great team and the financial ability to retool the squad season after season.

All of this means that you will be perennial challengers and continue winning your fair share of league titles; maybe more than your share. It's hard to imagine that Chelsea will ever catch up with you on that score, but if we do it will take many, many years. For now however we're going to do everything we can to be one title win closer to your total come the end of this season, than we were at the start of it. If we manage to do it, we'll definitely settle for that for now. :)

Thanks for the warm welcome :)

Past is the past, present is the only relevant time that should be discussed. Haven't you guys got tired of Liverpool bi*ching about their 18 titles? Anyways, ever since Chelsea became the European Champion back in 11/12, they gained a huge momentum. Quality players now wanna be part of Chelsea and her success. Liverpool can't attract shi* and Man City have to double or triple player's salary to bring them in. And the funny thing is they still suck in all European competitions.

I think United and Chelsea are the only clubs that can bring honor and respect for England in CL. Liverpool has been strugling to get their shi* together after the 80's

A respectful rival fan? Whoa. Welcome, and yes, no one touches Man U domestically and very few contend in all of Europe. Next year will be a fun title race.

You'd be surprised. Most rival fans are generally respectful, except for the minority who give everyone else a bad image.

5 seasons, not 5 years. In 2010, at least until March the trophy was at Stamford Bridge.

That makes no sense at all. In March 2010 Man United were champions, we won the league in May 2010. Your the holders of the trophy for a season but you can only win it in one year and that's what counts. So are you saying that we haven't won the champions league for two or three years?,

What? This makes no sense at all. United weren't champions for 3 months.

We were defending champions until March 2011 (sorry a mistake, thanks OhForAGreavsie). The trophy was at the Bridge until then. March 2011-May(?) 2015, 4 years.

Firstly i'm only quoting from your mistake but your logic is just wrong. Holders and physically winning something are two different things. 2010 -2015 is five years. So since the 2010- 2011 season and now the title has been won by City and United twice and if we win it that's five titles ergo five years. It's the Grand National on Saturday if last years winner falls at the first but runs next year and wins how many years since it last won the G-N two years.

Anyone think we can get to 90 points?

Winning all our 8 games will get us to 94, the tricky games we have to play are United, Arsenal and Liverpool. Getting six wins and two draws will get us to 90, or lose one and win seven and its 91.

I think the 90 pts mark is quiet special in the PL, only teams to do it (in 38 games) are United 99-00, Arsenal 03-04, our two titles with Mou, and United in 08/09. Hope we can achieve that, will be hard but possible imo.

We'll get 89points imo. 90points depends on us beating the big teams which we've slowed down on this season

Maybe. The ones that come on here are, for the most part, assholes.

Then again, if went to a rival forum, my main objective would be to rustle jimmies. So its understandable.

Can't understand why people go on other teams forums then post things in Chelsea forums saying have you seen what Man City, Liverpool fans have said about us. Well what do they expect to read it's football not fucking Mumsnet. Football is the most partisan sport in the world and people don't sit on the fence when there talking about opposition clubs and fans. Not the greatest analogy in the world but a football team is like a fart you love your own and hate everyone else's
