Azpil Cahill Terry Cole

Kdb Ramires Mikel Schurrle

Think Ba,Kdb offski January ??? Not even on da bench might as well free 2 spaces up to players that Jose fancies, think if we had a 20+prem striker and another world class cm we would be top of this league easy grrrrrrr

here's where consistency in performance from game to game becomes so important. earlier in the season, we won big against man city and blew the next match against newcastle. today we won big against lpool. let's not blow this one now.

Won't be an easy game for sure but Southampton's form have dipped lately. They have won just 1 of their last 8 Premier League games - 3-0 at Cardiff - and lost 5 of those to Arsenal, Chelsea, Villa, Spurs and Everton but picked up draws against Man City and Newcastle.

southampton are very good at home. would be a difficult match.

cech

azpi cahill JT(hope he does not fall down on the pitch) cole

mikel rambo

willian oscar hazard

torres.

we need some consistency in the AM department and atleast i feel we have got our best combo. willian-oscar-hazard is our best. torres will get a lot of space to run into.

Eto'o scores today and yet you want Torres to play the next match! How can our strikers become good or consistent if their reward for scoring goals means being dropped in the next match.

cos except for that one goal, he was PATHETIC in every sense of the word. could have even given away a penalty.

Did you even saw Torres today. His solitary run made my day, after that Hazard strike, of course.

This is the time of year were the strength of squad's show, Southampton don't have the type of depth we do and we really need to go to the St Mary's and take advantage of that.

It's not going to be easy, but it certainly won't be as hard as it would have been had we gone their in October or early November, and if we rotate properly and don't get complacent, we can defiantly win this reasonably comfortably (if we take our chances).

---------------------Cech---------------------

Azpi---------Cahill--------JT----------Cole

--------------Mikel---------Rami------------

Hazard-------------Mata------------Schurrle

----------------------Ba------------------------

Defense pick's itself, only Hazard played a full game against Liverpool out of that attacking 6, only Mikel out of the other 5 played at all, so that will be a fresh enough team to go and hopefully do the business.

Guess Drogba was an idiot as well against Barcelona, with that penalty-gift to Barcelona, no?

Or, again Drogba, he made a stupid foul that cost his team a penalty against Senegal during 2014 WC qualifying; two times idiot, don't you think?

The truth is that when a striker comes back to help defending is always a display of commitment: Oscar negligently lost the ball and Eto'o made all the pitch in reverse in order to help defending; also, Suarez had already lost possession way before the contact, so how can it be a penalty without a ball...

Eto'o gave everything on the pitch and came out with cramps; the only real stupid thing he did has been the foul of the Liverpool's goal: dangerous, useless and totally uncalled for.

Finally, Eto'o performance is rated 7.2 out of 10 on WhoScored: yeah, really PATHETIC.

Oh yes, his beautiful run against an injured defender endend with a pass to the keeper. Wow.

So you're comparing a striker making a mis-timed tackle in order to stop an attack with Eto'o taking Suarez out off the ball when there was absolutely no need to? He gave away a stonewall penalty for NO REASON and we're lucky Webb didn't give it.
