I hope Luiz is ready for this game and if he is I would play him in the pivot instead of Lampard (needs rest). Luiz is - as a CB - obviously way better than Lamps in the air and we need strong players with good heading against Stoke. I would play Ivano at RB aswell (same reason). Ivano can rest against Crystal Palace.

No, Luiz should not just be brought in from injury and placed straight into a role he struggles with. Right now there is no need for Luiz as he should displace JT or Cahill they have been very good. If anything Mikel can combat their aerial threat so him in the pivot with Ramires.

The problem with Mikel is that he sucks in the air. Like really sucks.

Luiz has only been out for a couple of weeks, it's not that he forgot to play football during that time and he has to play sooner rather than later so why not get him going?

Luiz would be very good in a game like this. He can defend, he can pass from the middle, he can score from set pieces and he can blast them in from freekicks.

Mikel is just.. I don't know....

Stoke have tried to play a less 'physical' style of football since Hughes took over but they've only bought two new players in that time so it's a rather half-hearted attempt. It's left them a little softer than they were under Pulis so I don't think we have to change our game too much on that account.

The key would seem to be to maintain width and attack from the flanks which is why I'd stick with Hazard and maybe put Schurrle on the right. Stick Oscar in the middle and let him and Oscar harry Whelan for 90 minutes to disrupt their play and try and put a few goals past them. Everton managed to get four against them and they've lost five of seven away from home.

We need to get this right as it'll set the tone for the rest of December.

.......... Cech............

Branna...... Terry..... Luiz..... Azpi

......... Lamps.... Ramires.......

Schurrle..... Oscar....... Hazard

.............. Ba...........

Hazard needs to stay and keep his magic going.

Lamps Rami is obviously our best pivot option.

The leaky defense needs to be plugged and Luiz surely needs to get the nod ahead of Cahill.

We can't be too creative against Stoke worth their physical game. So Mata off Oscar in. Schurrle and Hazard provides enough width on the flank and could make those inside runs.

Still confused with Azpi or Cole at LB since Azpi is doing so well.

Ba can help hold up the ball against a tall defense and has a better scoring chance against Stoke than Torres.

Get the 3 points and rest the entire team for CL match.

Yeah he's one of the nicest guys I've come across at Chelsea. Proper Chels he is.

Yeah top bloke, seems weird I didn't know the name of a bloke who I cuddle everytime I see.

I think he may of just been relieved that my other pal was selling the CFC Fanzine for him and he was getting a break :D
