FFS........Can you not see a vastly improved Chelsea performance.......A team willing to hassle the opposition in their own half.....................A team that MADE West Ham look average. Pre-match threads were worried about going to the Hammers, but we wiped the floor with them. WHU are not in the "relegation zone" and what do you want from Chelsea? My point was that this was a vastly improved performance from our others of late. . This was a very professional performance, away from home to a team who class this match as their cup final.

We won, and we won well.........Class result in my opinion, no matter where they stand in the table

I'm not particularly happy with his link up play. It was decent today but I reckon his awareness isn't good enough. The amount of times he has a runner on the opposite flank and he plays the simple pass to the lad right infront of him.... is just too much for me. He had quite a few bad touches and imo the only thing he's better than Torres at is his willingness to take shots and take on defenders. Everything else, i reckon Torres is on par or even better than him at.

agree with most of it. but i stick to what i said too "nothing flashy. and good link up play" - he keeps it simple plus his positioning and movement are brilliant.

also torres of this moment is better than etoo but torres taken over his almost 3 years at chelsea would not make the cut!!!

It was the same 4-2-3-1 system we always play just with Lampard getting to go forward a lot because we dominated possession. Ramires was on the right and Lampard was in the pivot though and was very good there beyond just the goals. He had a few great, quick passes to set-up attacks (Including the pass to Hazard that led to Oscar's goal.) and he defended well. Everyone played pretty well but Oscar's pressing was fantastic and Hazard created a lot. Don't like Ramires on the right and this was generally a sub-par game from him.

It was a game for Bertrand at lb and Azpil at rb think we would of won 6-0 , nice to see there isnt anything wrong with Essien also! Not many mistakes from any Chelsea players onwards and upwards ...

He was moved forward today. Ramires and Mikel were sitting for the most part.

Mata would also do well if he was afforded that convenience for once under Mourinho.

The 4 goals he scored this season have all been trademark. I hope Mou unleashes Lamps attacking threat more often. He is still most effective in the last third.

On a further note, how awesome was Azpilicueta today? I'd love to see him used more on the right, cos even though he is ambidextrous, we need his attacking prowess on that side more than on the lef,t where we got Bertrand who is fast, has tenacity and can cross, which should suffice to make him a good LB for this kind of games when he play enough.
