and it is very important to have a settled back 5 inc keeper ,having the two midfielders as certain starters will also benefit us in terms of understanding and defending,as the season progresses this defensive unit will get better and better ,this does not mean we will be sitting back either we will be playing a higher line and pressing.

I'd love to see us go all out in this game simply because Everton are not the sort of team that sit back anymore.

Play Luiz. Play Mata.

My starting XI would be:

Cech

Azpilicueta - Luiz - Terry - Cole

Ramires - MVG

Willian - Mata - Hazard

Eto'o

High energy, creativity, defensively solid, brilliant technical ability in the front four (the link up play will be outstanding). Let's have them.
Playing Mata and Luiz ask depend on them impressing Mourinho at training.

Just like Torres owning his competitors at training at getting the first team spot.

Hazard is probably injured after his Belgium training and may test and give De Bruyne a starting birth

How about we keep the lineup the same until a slip up. Unlike every other sport, football fans love to see change even though our line up is fine as. We looked awesome against the best side in the world, lets keep that lineup.

Is it time to push the panic button if Mata's sitting this out?

Sadly I fear it might be, I really thought he should have been on the CCup game, but I mean we didnt let him go so let him play. I can't believe this sudden change of attitude to player of the year and for one of our best players. Stop the nonsense Jose and PLAY MATA!!! :)

Yeahh. All of those four players have great technic. So we already have a striker with good technical ability and when they get good understanding between each other, the link up can be very exciting.

I hope the starting setup will look like yours, but I have my doubts Mourinho will start Eto'o and Willian. I'd expect them more to come in as a sub in their first official Chelsea match. I wouldn't be suprised if Mata will start the game.

Cech

Cahill- Luiz - Terry - Cole

Ramires - Lampard

Willian - Mata - Hazard

Eto'o

Cahill won't be at RB 100%. We have got a natural and a suitable RB in Azpi and Ivanovic who can play there. Apart from that I think the selection looks good but I can see Torres starting this one. I really would like to see Jose go with Willian, Mata and Hazard. That trio will terrorize other opposition for sure.
