Samuel Eto'o

Whatever thing he has said, he is alright: Guardiola was an idiot to treat Eto'o like that, Eto'o a guy who was (is) a legend for FC Barcelona and who, along with Messi and Iniesta, was the star of the best season ever for the club (2009 Treble).

Swapping him + a lot of money for a weaker player of the same age?? CRAZY, TOTALLY CRAZY.

it is exactly as if here, some crazy manager, dared to treat a legend for Chelsea like Didier, when in his prime, as a complete mister nobody, kicking him out of the club.

Guardiola is an absolute idiot, no matter how much he wins.

Dude, I was just starting to really like him, did you have to remind me about that?! :mouthclosed:

Also here, in the first five minutes of the interview he keep saying "Hazard, Hazard, Hazard, Hazard". What is he saying about Eden? Is it something about the way he is training or what? Can't understand.

Where are the belgians when you need them the most?

Sorry, you're right, but it was necessary to prove my point: I obviously think we would have all been rightfully mad if something like that happened here regarding Drogba.

That's what I was meant to say.

Quickly becoming one of my favourite players. Still can't get over how old he is and I really hope he gets another year on his contract. Without him we would not be where we are in the CL or the League. Eden and Samuel work so well together!!

He is. He is getting better and better, his goal against Arsenal was world-class.

well Bosingwa also scored some world-class goals. That doesnt make him world-class, does it? He is and will remain a Good striker, he will never be world-class again because he has lost his pace.

We'll see about that.

The guy has really proven me wrong. It wasn't him I was ever against, but his signing (and the loaning out of Lukaku) and I felt that he might've lost that hunger that made him so great.

He probably won't be world class again because he's lost that explosive pace but I think that really shows what a technically brilliant player he actually is/was. Look at someone like Torres who lost his pace and becomes a pussycat and it's clear just how good Eto'o is that he can still be such a good player without that burst of speed. We really did miss him when he went off because he makes such intelligent runs. Still not too sure about what happens with him next season because he probably deserves more than being the third striker but I'll trust Jose to do whatever he thinks is best.

It's hunger for me, just look at the way Samu chases down the keepers and opposition defenders, it's like chalk and cheese for me. Torres labors, Eto'o has energy and desire. The start of the season I said I was both dubious but also said that he could be a gem, he's turning out to be exactly that gem IMO. That goal he scored on Saturday was both typical of Eto'o and not only that but I can categorically say you wouldn't of seen that finish from Torres, he simply doesn't have it in his locker anymore.

Well he said something like that

"Ronaldinho was the best player in the world, but he didn't trained enough, i told it to Hazard, if you don't want to dissapear like him, you have to work very very hard every day. May be within 2 years another new boy in town would be the new great one and you will be forgotten if you are lazy like Ronaldinho was "

Damn, some hard words for Ronaldinho there. :P

He's actually not that bad at all right now. Wasn't he voted best player the South American leagues or so last year?

I think he was just tired of Europe and the stress it brought...

He liked to party too much, and he still does.
