And I think he will likely be not be with Chelsea next season. Recovering from this injury is difficult and takes a long time and a loan to give him regular playing time somewhere else will probably make sense.

Just don't send him to Valencia! He'll probably end up back at Vitesse next year.

But they wanted to buy him. I think we'll loan him out but we won't sell him next season, imo.

I believe that Ajax will settle for the loan,Still will be interesting to see what happens with him next season but I am not keeping my hopes up.

Surprised this wasn't posted, but he put this encouraging video up way back on November 4th:

And he was out for a meal with Kevin yesterday!

Great to see him on the move. Really hope he makes it back before the end of the season!

Well, both should have enough free time at their hands^^

Anyway, amazing to see his recovery going ahead so quickly, I really loved what he brought to us and the determination he always showed on the pitch even in some pointless friendlies, just remember how he bullied Khedira off the ball time and time again in that match vs Real. I bet his swift progress in reha is just as much courtesy of that equally strong will to get back onto the pitch. This injury might throw him back in his physical development but surely will make him stronger in the head.

btw how ugly is KDB's sweatshirt?

His injury is the only reason our central midfield look tired and overplayed

Not quite, Mourinho pulling the plug on our other CM deals is the true reason for that. Not to mention Lampard's determination to play or be played every game based on his interview last week. Those are the real reasons why our midfield isn't only tired but not good enough in the first place.

At least he was the one mourinho was willing to give chances ahead of lampard. Then he got injured

He was anything but, he was an assurance to Lampard if anything, meaning he wouldn't have any senior competition, in other words, a cart blanche, so he could have his way.
