NishC300 1,865
Stefan Coerts @StefanCoerts2mMarc Overmars has admitted that #Ajax have attempted to sign Marco van Ginkel on loan, but #CFC don't want to let go of the midfielder.Ought to be a sign that we'll give him game time.IMO he could easily team up with Ramires or Oscar in the pivot. Miguelito 459
I think I remember MVG saying something about talking to mou and them saying that he probably wouldn't start and play alot right at the beginning. He would be eased in to the team. Kind of reminds of what happens with Varane. So, I'm not too worried that he hasn't got any PT. Mou has also said that he will have to pick and choose when to play lamps so I am confused at why he's played so much at the beginning, but at some point I think MVG will slowly get more games and give lamps breaksHopefully he'll be able to make a significant impact. I really want to see him at the WC too

Milan 17,957
Marco scored the winner for his U-21 national team today. It was against Luxembourg and from a penalty but it was a winner. Hopefully it will help his confidence. Bir_CFC

kellzfresh 7,229
Please jose gotta play him against basel, he'll suit his style perfectly. speeding up our transitions with his quick pass thinking is key. Our tempo increased against everton and MVG is that sort of player. I think he should play beside mikel. But I know lampard will start against basel since he didn't against everton. Jase 43,479
Ramires is not suspended. Super cup suspensions no longer carry over to other UEFA competitions. He is suspended. And picking up a red card in the Super Cup and resulting suspension DOES carry over to the club's next UEFA competition match.Article 20Yellow and red cards20.01 As a rule, a player who is sent off the field of play is suspended for the next match in a UEFA club competition. The Control and Disciplinary Body is entitled to augment this punishment. For serious offences, the punishment can be extended to all UEFA competition categories.Source: Page 19; Article 20 - http://www.uefa.com/MultimediaFiles/Download/Regulations/competitions/Regulations/01/94/62/24/1946224_DOWNLOAD.pdf
