The same people who say it is only 1 game and that does not mean anything etc also have to understand he is a young player who is in his first season in the PL and has scored a few goals this season and while there is room for improvement he will get better and like we saw at Leverkusen I am sure he will score more as well.

Lol, so you thought Schurrle's first half performance was good enough for a Chelsea player? He was by far the worst player on the pitch, including those in white.

When did I say about his performance of the first half ? Are you shortsighted ?

To post that Schurrle is not good enough for Chelsea only a dimwit may say it & that´s what I was referring to.

I feel like too many people are expecting the wrong thing from Schurrle. He isn't a flashy, technical player, he's all about movement, getting into right positions, pace and finishing.

This is something that I have realized in recent weeks. When we first signed Andre I was under the impression off him being a creative winger with decent finishing ability so naturally I was very Disappointed by his performances early on but now I know his biggest strength is his awesome movement in and around the box and if he finishes like he did today then he could become a real asset. However I think only Eden has the vision to make best use of his Andre's movement.

Everyone was slagging him off in the first half but I just didn't think he was that bad, in fact, I thought he was the least bad of the attacking four. Yes, things weren't really clicking for him on the ball, but off it, he was the only one making great diagonal runs and runs down the flank and creating spaces.

He was the worst our of the four.

It was understandable because Schurrle is a great player but not a great footballer, hes not as technical as Hazard or Oscar so he was always going to struggle in such a tight and confined game.

I don't understand how he has barely played this season though, he's the type of player that can win us many points, he has to start against Spurs.
