Mancini Sacked!

The fact remain is that without Roman money we would not be where we are at.

In fact Chelsea was about to go to administration before Roman came.

So thanks to oil money Chelsea is an elite force.

Difference between us and city is that we were a solid premiership team who were winning trophies and beating the likes of Barcelona before Roman came. I'd say we were back then as Spurs are now. Some top players, good coach, can challenge anyone on their day but they don't win trophies of course :P City had nothing, always in the bottom half, shite coaches shite players etc. like Fulham.

Moyes and Pellegrini to United and City respectively while Mourinho comes to us.

This all comes off we would have already seized an initiative in the title race before a ball is even kicked.

Well according to this article, Pellegrini is really good.......

Manuel Pellegrini is next best thing for Manchester City after Guardiola

Typical English media harping on about Pellegrini being average, see it's this type of short sighted mentality is why the media in this country get pelters all the time.

Pellegrini is a superb manager, very clever and well respected amongst managers around the world. Listen to the English media and they will have you believe he has just come out of kids coaching.

Absolute toss pots, honestly.

Pellegrini is far more tactically astute than Mancini, who I have never rated as a manager. Also a very prudent mind in the transfer window, much like Wenger. A good choice for City, as he will bring balance to their squad, rather than signing another 12 average centre midfielders for next season (Scott Sinclair LOL )

So it is as I was expecting. Now City will be a real force.

I never took them serious with Mancini. Sure they won the PL last year, but that was because United had a once in a lifetime collapse with SAF.

With Pellegrini going to City, now more then ever we will need a top coach. If Mourinho does not come back we might be screw.

Why might we be screwed? We have the basis here to be a superb outfit if the right signings are made. Why do people go on as if Mourinho does not come it will be the end?

I want Jose as much as anyone but that doesn't mean it will happen. This football club will be fine if we don't get Jose, but regardless of him the signing are as key as the managerial appointment.

Chelsea won't end if Jose doesn't come here, please remember that.

Well the past managers speak volume.

As Chelsea had a better squad, and got outsmarted by a crappier team like United because of their coach.

I don't think their are many top coaches out there left. Besides Guardiola and Klopp I don't see anybody else. And those two are not coming.

IF Jose doesn't come....Roman would probably persuade Hiddink to take over.

But you're right...there aren't many top-class coaches out there...

Yeah he is very good; my post was in the context of the soundbytes that Ferguson - Mourinho - Mancini axis would have generated. Would've been tasty.

I might say, that Pellegrini with Real Madrid did nothing, so I don't see the point of him being enormous. He is great with mid-profile teams, let's see again with City...

If City get Pelligrini, they are, imo, favorites to win the league next season with the current squad they have.

:lol::lol:

He's going to walk in the door, sit the players down, keep them in suspenceful silence for a few minutes and then it's going to happen.....

He's going to slam his Intertoto Cup Winner's medal down on the table for them all to see....a hushed silence will fall over the room.....he's won their respect.

A good result for Pellegrini next season is making it out of the Champions League group stages and finishing top three. I reckon that if they give him £200 million to spend then he can do it.
