Kojo 4,676
If we play John Obi Mikel and tell him to face the other way, he might start passing forwards.Could be a start!.

Tomo 21,751
I don't think we'll win.History and the greater desire to win (it would seem, judging from the gutless attitude of some of the players yesterday) belongs to Villa. Our record at Villa Park is horrific. Lambert has been using the 8-0 as motivation for his players and they will definitely have a point to prove. They are also in great form at this moment; a totally different beast we beat by that fluke score in December.I think a draw is the best we'll get from this. Hope I'm wrong. It's laughable how people are so ignorant and arrogant to assume "we'll thrash them". Not a chance. If we win, it will be a cagey 1-0. But a draw is far more likely than that, and I can even see Villa doing us here.Actually they were in good form when we met them in December, they were off the back of thrashing Liverpool then Norwich in their own back yards. It was after our match they went into free fall.Im not saying we will win 8-0 again tho as we clearly won't.
HRiver 1,512
If we fail to beat a team like Aston Villa, in a game of such high importance, then we do not deserve to play in the Champions League.
Rmpr 8,977
We are playing really well, why the pessimism?2 cheeky goals and a bunch of waisted chances made people think we are absolutely shit (which we arent). As long as we dont rest half a team because of Amsterdam; we will win, secure top4 and everything will comeback to normal. Score first and the game is ours!KTBFFH!
BenIsLegend 475
I was confident of top 4 before the Spurs game, now I'm not so :/I feel our inability to kill a game off is going to punish us this season, but I do hope we beat Villa to be able to relax against Everton

Jase 43,479
http://www.thefa.com/News/2013/may/david-bernstein-stiliyan-petrov.aspxStiliyan Petrov has announced his retirement from football. Great. That would probably give Villa more encouragement to perform for him on Saturday.
The Skipper 20,609
We win this game and we're practically top 4, unless Tottenham decide to score a 20+ goal difference against Stoke away and Sunderland at home. Don't see that happening.
Bir_CFC 3,455
Rafa's press conference was comforting. He stated the importance of this game which calms my nerves thinking he'll field a strong lineup now.CechAzpi - Cahill - Terry - ColeMikel - LampsMoses - Hazard - OscarBaLuiz and Rami def need some rest. Mata was the guy who played the most against Spurs so he gets a rest too, just wish we could get Azpi some rest too. Would love it if we can get a strong lead by half time and rest Azpi too. The Skipper 20,609
Azpi - Cahill - Terry - Cole Mikel - Lamps Moses - Hazard - Oscar Ba I'd go with this too.Possibly start Mata & Ivanovic instead of Hazard and Azpi too.

bushman 2,043
How can anyone be nervous or even doubt that Chelsea may not win on Saturday ?The team is playing well. Rafa has done well with the team, lately. No matter what or who plays against shitty Aston, Chelsea will hammer them again. The end of the PL season is on Saturday for Chelsea. Then, it continues in Amsterdam, the team collects EL trophy & the final game against Everton will just be a showoff for the team.
Chelsea Legend 11 4,062
To be fair 4pts from 6 in our last two games is about what I expected heading into the games. The fact that we let a result slip in the last 10mins is inconsequential. We always had to get a result against Villa and I'm sure the players will be up for it!As far as the Europa league final goes its 4 days away, plenty of time to rest the necessary players. Has to be CechAzpilicueta - Cahill - Terry - ColeLuiz - LampardRamires - Mata - HazardBa
