Also: I dont see the point of having Oscar in this team anymore. Mata and Oscar cant play together long term, they are too similar in playstyle, but both are extremely weak. You have short players too, but they are quite strong like Messi, Aguero or Lucas. Oscar and Mata are soooo weak it pisses me off when City bullies our team...

Oscar...he has some great potential and skill, but he will never be pivot or Lampard type of player. He is not engine and is average when on pressure. I dont see him play together with Mata, ever. Unless we move to La liga where you dont need much power at all.

I like Oscar realy much but he just keeps the ball, makes some nice skill but then its over...I realy dont ser what part will he play in this team...either in 4:3:3 or 4:2:3:1 we need typical winger. Schurle or Ayew or someone else...shooting from distance and fast direct dribbling based on pace and power rather skill is what we need. We have plenty of ball wankers, we need distributors who make game faster...I hope we sign Mou and let him fix this mess.

This game really reminded me of FA cup final.last year vs liverpool. 2-1 result. We dominated that game first half and sucked second half. Same thing here but we were Liverpool. Very gutted.

Yeah but he done his job. He did not have a bad game. Did he do anything that was sloppy? They dominated the game however none of the goals you can really blame him. He held his position well and done an excellent pass for Ba which unfortunately he could not finish.

I agree, Oscar or Mata won't be here in the near future....

Also, Lampard was and always is a CAM. He might of played cm in the 4-4-2, but he aint no prototypical CM. Their a reason why England struggles so much with him and Gerrard together...

Anyways, I've been saying all season long, Chelsea need wingers..... Fast, direct wingers.. I haven't seen KDB play much, but I don't think he is either of those...

Mikel was not that bad. We lost the midfield battle yes, but he made some decent interceptions and before anyone says something stupid like he "was subbed off because he was shit", no, he was subbed off because we needed a tactical change and thus went with two upfront. I would not say any player was hugely disappointing but the better team won on the day.

Simply not good enough. city are the only team in England we simply do not have a chance against. Their pace and strength is impossible to break down for our slow midgets. Our spine, no matter age or form is simply a massive downgrade on te Lampard-Drogba partnership that made us the best team in England only 3 years ago. U can say "transition" or shit. This might apply for Oscar or Hazard who still can improve, esp mentally but Mata simply is not the player we want himto be. He simply has not the tools to carry us against opponents of this calibre. Mata has failed us any big game this and last season once he faced some decent defenders. Barca, Bayern, Juve, City, Atletico all got them in their pockets all day long. He so slow and one footed, they only have to cover his left boot and block him when he wants to "run" past defenders. We lack class all over the pitch. One fucking tired team in the first half. Chelsea were even lucky not to be 2-3 goals behind, then.

After Citeh were up by two, they started to defend & Chelsea were coming on.

Current Chelsea squad is not good enough to beat the top teams consistently.

No matter what anyone says here, Chelsea are still 2-3 players from challenging for CL, PL...

Being out of FA now, maybe RAFA will work on PL & get them in top four places.

Took us to go 2-0 down before we decided to get into fucking gear. some shocking play from us today, they literally by passed our central midfield when they wanted too and people like mikel allowed them too.

No decent balls in from the full backs today, Azpi and Bertrand where shocking. There was a time when Bertrand had a chance to flash it across goal yet he took a touch and floated it in, shocking decision making from him and others today.
