Instead of looking at ways to really stimulate the manufacturing industry with targeted incentives and programs like the Germans did in the late 1990's she just dismantled it to make a political point. The UK could of become what Germany became in the late 1990's early 2000's much earlier... the phrase ''Made in Germany'' is a brand in it's own right. You can compete in this world if your products are reliable and long lasting just like what the Germans have achieved. If she had really invested in the engineering and science sector like what the Germans did then the UK would be in a much stronger position today.

Do you know where the UK is in terms of world wide exports ??? The UK is 10th behind Italy and Holland. That is directly due to her pounding the manufacturing industry into a pulp...
