At times of austerity measures and massive cuts for the unemployed and in health and education it is ludicrous that somebody who was despised by so many is given such treatment. She destroyed this country economically and that is just clear for everyone to see. Instead of looking at ways to really stimulate the manufacturing industry with targeted incentives and programs like the Germans did in the late 1990's she just dismantled it to make a political point. The UK could of become what Germany became in the late 1990's early 2000's much earlier... the phrase ''Made in Germany'' is a brand in it's own right. You can compete in this world if your products are reliable and long lasting just like what the Germans have achieved. If she had really invested in the engineering and science sector like what the Germans did then the UK would be in a much stronger position today.
