I've said it before, but it would be the ultimate embarrassment if Arsenal were to leapfrog us at any point this year.

Their worst team I've ever seen and we beat them twice this season. If a side that poor jumps us it'll do my head in.

Bit conflicted about this game same as last year,

Do we win and try and go for second?

Or do we loose and give city a chance at the title again?

I honestly couldnt stand united winning anything again

You gotta be kidding me!!

We are in a desperate need to finish in the Top 4 and need every points we can get with everyone else so close behind us but here you are worrying about whether to give City a chance to catch United!

Dafuq? You would lose and risk finishing in the top4 just so City could stay only 12 points behind United? Are you serious?

There's more then enough games to win after, especially with the piss poor form of the arsenal and spurs, one more lose isnt going to change jack i suspect with the fat fucker at the helm it wont be just one either, nor the last draw, tho i firmly believe we'll beat united as well and our other *big games*

In the wrong forum mate, the Man City forum is over there, please refrain from saying we should lose for Utd's demise, we aint sacrificial lambs, and tbh, just plain wrong on all levels of sport

Sounds more like ya should be on the united forums but anyway.

I honestly dont see the problem with not wanting the cheating scumbag united bastards winning anything, our season is already a disaster, now if we were to finish 3rd instead of 2nd and that would mean united win nothing again this year, I'd be more then a happy man.

You're taking things for granted here and blinded by your hatred over United. Yes, we might have a lot of games left but there is no guarantee we'll pick up enough points to finish in the Top 4. We've still gotta play Liverpool and Man United away after this as well as Spurs and Everton at home. Heck with our inconsistency this season, there is no guarantee either that we'll beat the likes of West Brom, West Ham, Swansea, Villa etc! The sooner we can wrap up a place in the Top 4, the better. Couldn't care less about other teams' aim. It's all about us finishing in the Top 4 right now and nothing less!

As for Spurs and Arsenal, both in piss poor form?! Lets see. Ever since Benitez took over, Spurs have picked more points than us in 14 PL games and lost just 1 of those - W9 D4 L1 - while we and Arsenal have picked up the same number of points, 25(both W7 D4 L3). In addition, Arsenal are in a decent form in their last 11 PL games despite all the doom and gloom as they have won 7, drawn 2 and lost just 2. And with them exiting the CL soon, they'll be able to focus solely on finishing in the Top 4 which is bad news for us already!

Dude I love nothing more than seeing Utd fail and AF's face turn purple in the face with dissapointment and loss but to say we should sacrifice any more points when we have already done that with QPR, WBA and other teams when we need every point we can get is just plain wrong.

Like you said "if". It's all 'ifs' and 'buts' now whether we'll able to finish in the Top 4. Instead, you're worrying about not wanting United to win anything this year.

Get of your high horses, obviously i want whats best for chelsea 1st, this is a game we could loose regardless, allow for disappointment either way,

I guess im just more confident about us at least getting top 4 regardless of what happens at city.

I have a bad feeling about this game, I think it will be one of the most fustrating games of the season (yes)!

We will play great but will still manage to give up the lead on the 85th minute or something similiar.

Hope I am wrong!

Got the same feeling when we went to Arsenal and Tottenham, so..

Every game Torres starts begins with 80% frustration, so let's hope that doesn't happen..
