Great result, all about character but a sloppy start and some luck today.

Far too many doom-mongers ready to give up the game after a slow start and ready to jump on the back of the manager. If we're going to have success this year then everyone needs to believe in the squad.

Everyone in that side contributed though today and a great day with the signing of a striker looking closer.

MOTM tough to pick - I'm going for Turnball. Hard to come into a side under any circumstances but at half-time away to Everton and he made a fantastic save to keep us in it. Fair play to Lamps too though - he's earning a new contract in recent weeks rather than simply letting his reputation get him one and that's commendable.

Very lucky to get the points. The first 30 minutes was the worst we've played all season. We were an absolute mess but Cech and the woodwork saved us and Lampard won it. Expected to win against weakened Everton side but the way we managed to do it was very impressive. You have to be able to win some games you don't deserve to.

Not all games can be won with domination on the pitch and every player playing at their best. Some stadiums, fans, pitches & players simply make that an almost impossible task - something Everton have done all year.

We're the first team to break that 'curse' they have on other teams this season at their own ground. This, just after beating Norwich City who took down both Arsenal & Manchester United earlier this season.

Things are looking up.

If we truly do sign Demba Ba after this win I'll be ecstatic.

Absolutely incredible win after going 1-0 down and escaping post and bar moments to win the game and we deserved to win it too. We played the football and yes Everton caused us heaps of trouble but we dug in well and credit to the boys, the effort was first class. That is the performance and grit of a team that challenges for trophies. Frank Lampard still has the golden touch in a Chelsea shirt. Please Roman, sign him up.

Can't even remember the last time I felt this good watching us coming from behind to win a game. Arguably an undeserved win but we did what was needed and got 3 massive points. Back up to 3rd now!

Frank Lampard reacts after the game: "It was very hard. This is always one of the most difficult games of the season. We got a tanking here last year and we had to stand up for ourselves. We went 1-0 down but after half an hour we started getting into the game. Once we got a foothold we got a goal at a good time. It was always going to be very close and we did ride our luck at times. We have to keep believing this season - there is a long way to go. We can only win our games then rely on other things.

"We haven't been talking [about a new contract] in the last couple of weeks and I'm just concentrating on playing. Playing games gives me enough satisfaction, then what will be will be."
