Fernando Torres

.

Yes he did, in a team which dominated the domestic league. Drogba first full season saw him score 16 in all competitions. Torres scored 11 in a team which was struggling.

I'm not gonna hate on the guy like some in this forum. I still believe he has what it takes, he started well this year and I fully expect him to score 20 plus goals this season. Something Drogba only did twice.

What concerns me of Torres is not really how many goals he will score but the goals and performances in the big games. Ive never really seen Torres play good against a good opponent. The most important games this season will be against the top teams. He always gets lost (like yesterday) and people always come with excuses for that (like yesterday). I mean if we really want to win the PL and CL again we have to get rid of Torres, im 100% sure of that.He just wont cut it as a main striker for us. I cant understand how any 1 that has seen torres play these last 2 seasons can say that opposite.

ok thanks for that, just repeating the same argument that everyone has heard a million times well done.

Now please explain to me who is even arguing whether Torres has been good or not? because i certainly wasn't!

just another reason why its so pointless having any kind of debate with you.

Well, the "Torres doesnt get any service" and "Torres just needs better confidence" is starting to get a bit old too...

Wait, so if he has three players on his back he is supposed to stand near them like he always does? Because when I play football, I try to take away my cover so that my mates have a free space to run into. I guess it doesn't work that way for our wonder Fernando that the whole football community is trying to stop.

It's so sad that there is a huge group of fans that would rather Torres to score a fluke rather than us win a game.

Btw. is the a video editor on the forum that would sacrifice himself to make a video of Torres performances in all games this season? I know it's a hard task but it's an only way to show his attitude and overall gameplay.

The real problem with Torres is that hes a fucking bellend who has dipped dramatically in the last 3 years. He should be playing amazing based on his previous form now that hes in his prime. At least 30 goals a season but no hes fucking scoring 8 a season.... not even that.....

He gets involved too much with our build up play imo, he runs about dropping near the halfway line to receive the ball (I also think Mata is constantly guilty for this as well tbh but I think its more because we don't have a player who builds the game from a deeper position like Modric, Moutinho, Xavi etc.) and also tackling about there as well, then he doesn't make a run to help out whoever has the ball in an advanced position (where he should be in the first place.) He should be finishing off chances, not building the game slightly deeper providing key passes constantly. He has to contribute yes but he does it too much imo.

Maybe its because the midfield 5 if you will call it aren't winning the ball as high up, maybe its because hes a lazy bastard after putting work in to winning the ball back... or maybe its not. Maybe he should start scoring goals, or maybe he should just get fucking sold.... :Goober:

Best paid players in the World:

1. Samuel Eto'o (Anzhi)

2. Zlatan Ibrahimovic (PSG)

3. Wayne Rooney (Man Utd)

4. Yaya Toure (Man City)

5. Sergio Aguero (Man City)

6. Didier Drogba (Shanghai)

7. Fernando Torres (Chelsea)

8. Dario Conca (Guangzhou)

9. Lionel Messi (Barcelona)

10. Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid)

Who is Dario Conca? Chinese are paying $12.5 million per year for some unknown player lol - makes me feel a bit better about the whole situation with Torres. At least we "though" he might be worth the money

A false nine in chelsea could be tried you think? That's may be the reason why we didn't sign any striker.

I think that Marko Marin has the same profile too

A line up like this is just so sexy :

-------- Hazard ---------

Mata --- Oscar --- Moses
