Milan 17,956
If we want to be perfectly fair Torres had a "what the fuck I'm kung fu Evans" moment in the first half and was lucky to be on field.Well, under Carlo, Evans did exactly the same thing to Drogs and it was Drogs who commited the foul, according to ref. Man United all over the place,
bazza1984 21
Enough is enough. Dive or no dive, sent off or not. It's the end for Torres. No passion, no desire, no commitment. Awful with the ball, nowhere to be seen without it. We've done very well this season carrying him but I cannot see that we can go on much longer with Torres in the team. I think it's time to cut our losses and sell in Jan for whatever we can. He's not the type you want hanging around bringing others down with his mood swings so I think it's time to get rid.I so badly wanted him to come back to his best but it's past the time when it could be possible. It's sad but I feel the only way forward. Severinb 309
So he will miss the next game against utd? I think RDM would have let danny start even if he could have played!

Jype 6,398
Can't blame him for the sending off because that was a ridiculous decision by Clattenburg but Torres was useless today and was rightfully about to be substituted for Sturridge before the red card. Watching the game I couldn't help but be jealous about United's options up front. All of their strikers offer far more to the team than Torres does and for example Van Persie was all over the pitch today, always dropping deep to fight for the ball but still he always managed to be in the right place at the right time when they were attacking. Torres just stood there with two or three defenders always marking him out of the game and still he didn't do anything to make himself available. Very frustrating to watch...If there's one good thing about him getting sent off today, it's the fact that we get to see Sturridge play on Wednesday when we face those United cunts again in the cup. Had he stayed down and made a meal of that, Torres would have been off.

Blue Armour 4,439
I didn't know Cavani but Falcao had just scored 34 goals in 43 appearances with Porto and continued to score in the season when we signed Torres it's not like he was unknown player at the time. Hell he was pretty well known even before signing for PortoTrue, but it was the Jan transfer window, and we needed a striker who wouldn't take long to adapt to the PL. All the other strikers, including Neymar and Aguero were coming from different leagues.Of course it was a panic buy, but we didn't have much choice back then. Waterfall 893
Told the the fourth ref to fuck off straight to his face when leaving the pitch. 22 months since signing and he finally gained my respect Reporting this incident to the FA right now, hopefully they ban him for the season. THEN he will have earned my respect. Taking one for the team!
tmessy 139
hes done in my mind... no more time for him... chelsea need a striker they can rely on for finishing (something torres was once good at)...we need someone who everyone hates and has a striker mentality, not a cry baby who loses the ball and sends in our crosses (we have mata, oscar, cole, ivan, hazard, and rami for that)... he doenst look like a natural goalscorer he once was, his confidence is shit, and i know he wont get it back at chelsea... im a big fan of torres but im a bigger fan of chelsea and he needs to leave... anyone else would do, except i dont like danny being our #9 and i feel that lukaku isnt yet ready or the type of player we need atm... would love to see, dzeko, lewendowski, falcao, holt, balotelli, those guys would fit perfect... Bir_CFC 3,455
As much as I want him to leave, I don't think Chelsea can afford to sell him. We would take too large of a transfer loss on our books if that was the case. His 50M would have been amortized over his contract length which is 5 years, if we sell him now we have to record the remaining transfer sum THIS year. That's what like an extra 25M? I don't think we can afford that, considering we'd have to spend a lot to get a replacement too, so you're looking at a minimum of 35M of spending this year alone. I'm almost positive we can't afford to have an additional 35M in expenses this year considering how much we've already spent. We're almost better off just buying a replacement in Jan and selling Torres next year so it goes on next year's books. Or loan him in Jan and sell next year.
