Pray that is all part of just being diplomatic from Mourinho. He has criticized the strikers. He knows the problems with them (like who doesn't) but can't keep on doing that forever especially in this crucial run-in. Also need them onside to achieve our aims anyway and if they have any self-respect, they would perform in the remaining matches, whenever called upon, after Mourinho's comments though I'm not getting my hopes up on that.

Torres is still our player. Imagine any manager saying "this guy is sh*t and is not with me, we're ignoring his existence from now on" about any player. That's not done even if it's deserved, like in this case.

I don't think he's afraid to scare any potential buyers because if there is someone stupid enough to want Torres in the team they won't be scared off by Mourinho stating obvious things :)

I suppose it's just keeping it polite while giving Torres a final kick in the ass that will make him fly as far from here as possible. I hope.

What do you expect Jose to say " He's useless and he has no future here " ? We might have to rely on him for the rest of the season, can't afford to knock him down too much.

Torres does a lot of talking off the pitch. I always get the impression that he feels like he's owed something and is full of excuses. He can't rely on his old reputation anymore everyone knows he has been dire for a good 4 years now.

He hasn't done anything to earn a place up front for Spain, he will probably be watching the world cup from home. Hopefully home is no longer Chelsea

I feel bad for Torres, at the end of the day he did not ask us to pay 50 million for him, his just had bad luck since joining us and I think its affected him mentally coupled with his bad knee. I am not justfying him just that I think we need to catch him a break, he was not at fault for us not turning up in the 2nd half against PSG although he could hv done better, same can be said of willian, hazard and ramires who also wasted good chances. He did not make Mou agree to send Lukaku out on loan. I know he has his flaws but at lest catch him a break

He's gotten enough breaks and is one of the best paid players on our payroll.
