MrExcalibur100 7,124
Took 2 of Atletico's better players in Luis and Costa and we are giving them Torres. Feels so bloody unfair. TBF, the guy had two impressive games against them, especially at their place were I thought he was the best player. He also does well in Europe were the pace is not so intense and it's less physically tasking. The pace of most La liga matches are not so intense also. I still feel there's a player in there somewhere. We won't see that with us though and not in the Premier league.
MrExcalibur100 7,124
If he's unwilling to take too large a pay-cut, I won't mind a situation were we pay part of his wages till his contract expires so he can leave. I'm not sure how feasible that is but I know for sure it's done. seanptmiller and mediator

termninja 5,290
This would be a brilliant transfer if we pull it through. Return to Atletico would be a great thing for Torres and they really would need another striker. Signing Torres for 10m is a bargain considering how much he loves the club and how how much he's still popular when it comes to marketing even though I fail to understand why. He still has something to offer and they could potentially do very nicely with him if he does well which should be a bit easier when he doesn't have English media and premier League defenders kicking his ass week and week out. Hopefully we can offload him and bring in a suitable replacement.A for his wages I believe he'd take a wage cut for a chance to join ,,the only club whose emblem he's ever kissed"

MrBlueGuy 1,552
Apparently we won't sell unless we get £20m, really really hope the club is just trying to sell him and not look weak instead of seriously thinking he is worth that atm. Hopefully we settle for around 10m or maybe even 5m+ add-on if needed. Getting his £175k wages off is one thing and getting him out of the club forever is another. That and we also have to pray he accepts to lower his enormous wages if he was to leave as I doubt Madrid could afford that
