Popular Post! manpe 10,861 Posted November 5, 2012 Popular Post! Share Posted November 5, 2012 Why should the team have to adapt to Torres? What's so special about Torres that we have to change our tactical set up for him? HE should change for US. Though I still think he'd be poor anyway.Don't mind the delusional Torres fanboys, ignore them and they will return to sticking his posters on their walls. pHaRaOn, xPetrCechx, Peace. and 2 others

Popular Post! Peace. 4,352 Posted November 5, 2012 Popular Post! Share Posted November 5, 2012 Well actually we play in a very slow tempo , and Torres is still adapting himself to it , he had also crictised that when he joined chelsea , IMO We should start playing a bit quicker , and the so called creative trio (who hasnt played a single through ball to him) should try to involve him more , than he would come good , and mikel should show some courage , he passes back all the time , even on countersYeah, Ladyboy doesn't receive many through balls. I believe that's true, but one gotta wonder why, why our striker doesn't get that much of through balls ? Well well, he received a gem of a through ball three days ago, from Daniel Sturridge. What happend, what was the outcome of this through ball ? A shot ? A dangerous situation ? A goal occasion ? Nothing, nothing happened. Why ? Because Mr. Wonder-Horse didn't move, he didn't feel this passe coming - he simply didn't have the striker's reflex, a reflex that even your fourth rate striker possesses. Why would a player gift a through ball to a team mate when this team mate doesn't have the nose for through balls ? Why would you send a through ball to someone who will fuck up the move nine times out of ten, in the first place ?"and mikel should show some courage , he passes back all the time , even on counters" You do well to mention this fact. Against Swansea, during a counter-attack in the first half, Ladyboy received a good through ball from Hazard, as far as my memory goes. It was two versus two situation. What happened ? Where your average Joe would have tried to out-speed or dribble past the defenders, he ran right into the defender without creating any danger for the goalkeeper... Against Arsenal, Ramires - if my mind corners' aren't too dusty - set him up in a counter-attack, which could, and should, have led to a goal opportunity. Instead of a goal occasion, it led to a face-palm moment : he hit the ball with his back-heel, and the counter-attack was dead. It didn't happen once, but twice. I could go on with such examples ; though it's so frustrating that I'd rather not remind them. And on top of that, if he doesn't do the right calls, isn't in the team's flow, no wonder he receives nothing. chelseathebest 150
I can't imagine how frustrating is for other players to play with him.Imagine yourself running to a counter, only solution you have is Torres...You know that if you give the ball to him, he will fuck it up, but you have to give it to him because he is the only one available...Must be fucking frustrating. Bir_CFC 3,455
The more I think about Torres, I feel sad for the guy.If he woulda stayed at Liverpool, he woulda been loved but not have won anything. He decided to come to Chelsea, he won a lot but wasn't an integral part of the success. He'll retire, Liverpool won't care for him cause he left them, Chelsea won't care for him cause he provided nothing memorable. That's gotta be depressing for a guy on his time was considered the best striker in the world, yet he's going to retire with not much of a legacy. Tomo 21,751
The only good thing about this transfer is that Liverpool wasted the money almost immediately.Imagine what a laughing stock we would have been if Liverpool waited until the summer and got Falcao and Cazorla with that cash? Bir_CFC 3,455
@Bir_CFC, He will always have the Athletico fans to fall back on.He will always have his fans to fall back on. He's a very likable person but from a professional career perspective he's not going to leave much of a legacy.I think a return to Athletico might be on the cards for him, but I don't think that's a good idea because the way his career has turned out he's only going to frustrate them. They love him too much, they will stick by him but deep down they will regret it and so will he.It's just too bad, his decision to move to Chelsea was good but it just didn't work out for him. He'll have to be happy with all the money he's made and that he has a good family because I think he'll always be disappointed in his footballing career. And not because he hasn't done jack shit but because the kind of player he once was, he must have expected more. Nando

Only player to score in 2 European Championship Finals and won the Golden Boot in 2012.He'll probably be disappointed as you said, but he should be able to handle it with all of those medals. RamiCFC9 258
Actually on the bright side guys get this - we play really, really good and over most expectations so far this season, a point behind the EPL leader, we are in the last 8th in CC and with every chance finishing first in what proved to be a vicious group. AND THAT WITHOUT A STRIKER.And for the billionth time in this forum I would say "January can't come soon enough".Iam having nostalgy for the future. didierforever and Stingray
