Tomo 21,751
Let's hope we made that loan deal watertight, AC are probably going through it with a fine tooth comb as we speak.Again, let's hope the board did their job in preventing this. darrus
termninja 5,290
Hahahaha it's actually so sad I must laugh so I wouldn't cry ... Damn but he's done. Maybe he should retire ffs... If Milan are gonna ship him back because he's that bad then everything is clear. Loan to some other club then, don't want to see him in Chelsea shirt ever again, especially since Costa, Drogba and Remy are so bloody good! darrus, RoyalBlues and MichaelDance
KevinAshburner 1,270
I think Fernando Torres should change his position from Striker to a Goalkeeper and replace Petr Cech when or if He Leaves for in January 2015. (LOL I am only joking) Torres has achieved so much in his football career that I think his only still playing because of the money and or the fame that comes from being a footballer or the fitness or the traveling part of the professional life of a footballer. iseah100
MichaelDance 552
He will go back to Loserpool Let's hope, we'd have no issues against them he can't score to save his life, so it just means we'd get the ball back. And you never know they might end up lower than they currently are and be relegated lol.Suppose he could end up doing a Gerrard... Slip woops. iseah100 5,612
As a 4th striker can't be too bad. The guys seem to like him too.
Jase 43,479
The funny thing about this story is that Daily Mail isn't even reporting it.
Popular Post! Jase 43,479 Posted December 12, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted December 12, 2014 TBH, I wouldn't mind if he came back. It's not like he has to play any games. We have Drogba, Remy and Diego all ahead of him, whereas previously we had only Eto'o and Demba. He'd be a decent option for the wide positions in the 4-2-3-1 as well, if necessary. Wouldn't be the end of the world. That may be true but no thanks. He's not worth the trouble. Wouldn't want a miserable, sulking and useless bitch(!) at the club and disrupt the (perfect) harmony within the squad right now. OhForAGreavsie 6,074
I followed a link yesterday, from this site possibly, to an article which confidently stated that Milan were paying Torres's "ยฃ3.1m a season wages." Clearly, Torres is on a lot more than that so I wonder if we have a first glimpse under the bonnet of the deal that took our record signing to Milan? Is ยฃ3.1m the slice of Torres's salary that The Rossoneri have agreed to pay? Sounds plausible. As for Torres being a useful option for us in any position. We must aim to have a squad filled with players of a higher standard than Torres or we will betray the ambitions we've established over the last 11 years. CurlyHairLikeLuiz 1,625
I suppose having a backup forward for any AM/ST position would be okay, but that does then make him 4th or 5th choice in every position. Also, that would mean he would have to take a wage cut if he is going to be an attacking version of Mikel.Liverpool are having a striker crisis ATM, sell him to 'em for ยฃ10 million, and take the money and run! Pacquiao 1,834
He definitley shouldnt be a striker anymore, he should try to convert himself as a winger, he is great at crossing and can beat his man one on one, i remember the way Torres made Clichy look like a slug when he breezed past him and set up Schurrle, maybe playing RW might be best for Torres. darrus, iseah100 and stroey
Special Juan 28,141
He should stop trying to impersonate a footballer, he isn't a striker nor a winger.......he's just a washed up striker. Gotta like how people think Torres can cut it as a winger just because of a few (FEW!) moments like the one you mentioned there. He may be able to run past people or even put in decent crosses from time to time but doesn't mean he'll be successful as a wide player and not to mention, it takes a lot more than that to flourish on the flanks. The fact of the matter is, he's just a washed up footballer, who doesn't seem to have the brain to even get the basics right. MrBlueGuy 1,552
Honestly is this the worst decline case in football history? I mean now he probably won't even cut it in Npower league anymore and that is horrifying for a striker once considered best in the world just over 4 years ago. I mean even if you put him in like Crystal Palace or Sunderland team now he will struggle.I hope he just decides to call it a day when Milan tell him to fuck off at the end of this season and not comeback here to do a Malouda, I really hope not. They both declined well before they even reached age 30. The difference perhaps is ronaldinho had incredible natural talent and flair which he still displayed occassionally and never sulks or zaps positive energy out of a team Ainsley Harriott and Amblรจve.
