Ridiculous thread. If you want to support mid-table team with "dignity" appointing only charismatic managers, well don't support Chelsea then. Some of our fans still have that mid-table team mentality, which is holding us back.Robbie's last Chelsea game was one of the worst performances I have ever seen Chelsea play and yet people are "shocked" and etc.., pathetic mid-table supporters.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to start a crusade against this plump block, not at all. But I do not see any problem about showing banners at stadiums where it reads our discontent or sing protest songs. If a Chelsea fan group feels like telling its mind, fine, they should do it. I am well aware that because of my position, my opinions don't weigth anything ; nonetheless I won't accept this.

I completely agree with the sentiment of the your post; I mean I hate the fat waiter as much as the next Chelsea fan. But what would banners and showing public discontent possibly achieve? It would only add pressure and negative vibes to the team not to mention countless article in the papers that would create even more pressure on the team.

Rafa is only here till the end of the season and I will not wish he gets sacked before that, because it would mean that the team is performing so bad that a top 4 finish is at risk. The fact is, our rivalry aside, Rafa can be a good manage; you don't achieve what he has without being good. I can't think of a single manager with a better CV who would accept a 6 months deal.

Sure the situation is ideal, but the fans' utmost support is needed if we are to get this with the least damage. Look at like taking a shot every week, you feel a little pain, you wince a bit, but you just get on with it because you know that there is nothing you can do and it will be over soon enough.

I love how abramovic places chelsea(results) above everything else; loyalty, fans, and even his own pocket(money) that's really martyr-like and that makes most clubs envious and jealous of us. He has shown this by appointing benitez out of necessity despite all other odds and has done it in the best interest of the club. Chelsea fc 4 life.

It would be horrible idea to show banners that despises Benitez because at the end of the day he is not responsible for our club owner behaviour. On the other hand it seems Abramovic doesn't give a single fuck about us and our opinions; it would be a great way to show him that we do not like his actions.

Rather mid-table than without dignity.

Chelsea has humble begginings like many football clubs, I suggest you learn about it. Right now you have the mentatlity of a spoilt, entitled child whose play things has broken.

WE ARE CHELSEA WE ARE BETTER THAN MOST CLUBS IN THE WORLD AND WE ARE EXEMPT FROM DOUBLE STANDARDS AND HYPOCRACY BLAH FUCKING BLAH

ELITISM at it's best.

It's not about Chelsea it's about insanity of one person and should be stopped right now. it's almost 10 years he fucks our club by his stupid decisions! First insane decision was when Mourinho sacked, others followed from that day on! they knew we hate Benitez and still they did it! why? what's the point of sacking the man granted you the prize we all dreamt about for so many years which ironically was the reason of sacking probably all of our previous managers?! and for what? to appoint someone we hate instead of someone we loved till the end of season to benefit what?! That just preposterous, disrespectful and disgraceful.

We play West Brom March 2nd after a tough five games where we play Arsenal, Newcastle, and City. Wonder who the next manager is going to be. It's been over a year since we've payed Porto millions for their manager. Maybe we should try that again.

And then probably an Europa League away match against an Italian Opposition.

Come on people... Wanting to Set up an AFC Chelsea team is a bit extreme. Abramovic cares most about wiinning and that becomes a point to his benefit and to his disadvantage. Rafa was offered the job and he has taken it. We all know by now that roman wants the club to succeed and Rafa will do his best for the club that pays him. He won't "love the club" like RDM does/did, but the decision has been made, and boycotting games and other such measures won't solve anything, especially at a time when the team needs support and things arn't all rosy.

Don't know about you but I only respect those ppl who:

a - earn it

b - and offer it back.

He has neither earned nor offered any respect to our club. I'll put up with him, but I won't support him. I wont sing songs saying i want him out, but i certainly wont sing his name.

Just wait a few weeks, the moment we string a couple of bad results together this train wreck of a situation the board have created is going to turn into a media bonanza. Fleet street must be rubbing it's hands together at the prospect. He is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't they can't lose.

Reporter - Raffa, things have been going well, top of the league and into the last 8 of the CL. What's your opinion of Chelsea's flag waving fans now?

Or

Reporter - your two weeks in and results have not been going well. Do you feel any pressure, has the negative reaction of the fans undermined cohesion at the club?

Blah blah blah.... It's going to be a fucking media circus for the rest of the season, I'm tired of our club being dragged into shit storms generated by both the board and one or two players.

My two pence, just hope I'm proved wrong.

He has only been our manager officially for about 15 hours, he needs time to earn our respect, if you don't give him any time then there is no way he will earn your respect.

He ruined that when he said those things a few years ago, i don't want big mouth anywhere near this club and I'm not going to pay him any respect while he is here.

Are you serious? He has already shown complete contempt to our club and fans. The fact he has the audacity to then accept a job managing us shows even less respect for us the fans.

It's like a guy coming in for an interview and saying "this place sucks, and so do you", then accepting the job and you showing him respect.

He gets fuck all from me, nothing you or anyone else on here say is going to change my mind on that, well short of him referring to Liverpool fans as bin dippers of course.

The overreaction to this whole debacle is bloody ridiculous. Yes, he's a fat, Spanish, waiter and yes, he said something ages ago when there was a bit of a mini-rivalry between Chelsea and Liverpool; but he's also got a pretty good CV, uses our preferred 4-2-3-1 formation and -- from what everyone else seems to say -- is a pretty good tactician.

RDM was, and always will be, in Chelsea fans hearts, but we need to get over it. Let's just support the team and hope Rafa can get the best out of the insanely talented squad of players we have. BOOM! =)
