Bayern Munich. Real Madrid in a sense. Barcelona (although their success hasn't been as stable as some assume.) Manchester United.Any other teams? It depends on what you count as success. If it means trophies...Right now, there are basically 10 teams with money to build a strong team (RM, Barcelona, Bayern, BVB, ManUtd, ManCity, Chelsea, Juve, PSG and Shakthar), of those, 7 proves stability and long term thinking means trophies (RM, Barcelona, Bayern, BVB, ManUtd, Juve and Shakthar). If success is a better position then they would have been...Arsenal, Brasil, Corinthians, Udinese, Porto, etc.
TorontoChelsea 4,064
How about we just trust Roman? We were up in arms when Carlo an AVB left and what happened.Yes it is hard seeing a Chelsea legend leave our club, but how about we just trust that Roman makes the correct decision, he isn't Hicks or Gillett, he wants the best for us just as much as we do.He was slated for sacking Carlo and AVB, and in hindsight both have turned out to be the correct decision, if he believes he needs to change then his track record suggest's we should just trust his judgement. I can't say im celebrating right now but the last two manager sackings have taught me to trust the owner..How did sacking Carlo work out to be the correct decision? He's an excellent manager who did very well with us and I'd be happy if he were still at Chelsea. He never deserved to be sacked. We'd be in a better position if he were still with us. And how can you give him credit for firing AVB and not blame him for spending millions to get him a few months earlier? I don't trust Roman not because I think he's trying to screw the club, but because he acts like a spoiled fan on a message board and not like a serious football executive. We're going to have our fourth manager since May 2011. That's insane. I don't know how anyone could trust Roman with managers. He's been great for supplying Chelsea with money and horrible in dealing with managers.
The Mak 4,459
José or Pep for the long term, who would we prefer? The Mak's choice is obvious.

OneMoSalah 8,886
GO FUCK YOURSELF. SERIOUSLY, I AM FEELING SO BAD AND YOU DE SOMETHING LIKE THIS.DO IT SOME OTHER TIME...Not fucking Funny Ryan...Not at a time like this.Ok... I am sorry... Anyway about the sacking, I think deep down we all expected Roman to sack Robbie eventually. He wanted Pep, when Pep won the CL vs Manchester United, Roman tried for him (apparently) as did others. He continued trying as Pep only signed one year deals. The fact it took Roman 3 weeks to appoint Robbie shows he was option C or D for him. The only problem I have is with this sacking that Robbie didn't get enough time but I always had a feeling Roman would get of him either end of the season or when results go bad like under AVB. Rumors are that he was sacked because he dropped Torres and didn't even play a striker, the weird and negative tactics vs Juve last night. there had been some rows in the dressing room recently, were nearly crashing out as European Champions in the group stages... oh and yeah we haven't won in 5 or 6 games too. If we pick our form up and recover maybe they will think "oh we've managed to save ourselves with what happened with Andre last year" (frustrating games and performances but eventually he got sacked like 6 or 7 games after the start of it) still ludicrious. Robbie might not have lasted long but he was the first manager here to win us the CL, so hes automatically a legend as a manager in my eyes. Tomo 21,751
How did sacking Carlo work out to be the correct decision? He's an excellent manager who did very well with us and I'd be happy if he were still at Chelsea. He never deserved to be sacked. The debatable thing with Ancelotti is he let's teams stagnate, he did it with Milan and was doing the same with us. The best time to appoint Carlo is when your team has the average age of about 25-26 but he will always leave you with a massive rebuilding job afterwards. Jack Uzzi 54
Did any of the players have a problem with RDM? Maybe players should go on strike for once, as a protest against the management. Never seen that before, but why not.
