The worst time in the weekend for Chelsea to lose?

Talk Chelsea has member's all across the world and with it different time zone's so i was wondering out of the six time slots weekend matches are usually played, which (for you) is the worst time to lose?

For me it has to be either of the Sunday slots. Saturday i usually meet mates and go out to get drunk after a Chelsea game, so i can either take my mind off the game (if we lose) or celebrate it (if we win).

Sunday is a different kettle of fish however, Sunday's are bad and boring enough as it is, add a Chelsea defeat and it makes the day even worse.

Monday night and weekdays i go to sleep afterwards usually so have no real time to digest the result either way.

Losing games are bad enough as it is, but is their a day and time slot (for you) that makes it even worse?

Whenever Chelsea lose be it weekend or midweek it is bad timing imo because you know someone's going to mention it to you at one point or not... but then you're just like "Please fuck off, where were yous in last years Champions League final? Oh wait, your team weren't there." and everything goes back to being ok I suppose.

No, not really. It won't make much of a difference as Ryan pointed out. It's always painful to take a defeat regardless when we suffer defeat though losing at the weekend might be slightly more painful. And that is because you have to wait for a week to watch the team bounce and this is really annoying when there are no matches in midweek or there is an international break! That being said, won't have to worry too much about that right now as we'll be playing almost every 3-4 days from now on.

Agree!!!Defintly Saturday and then waiting on all the other results as well and hearing about it over the 2 days rather then the one.Espically if watching Sky Sports at 3:00 and our result rolling across the bottom again and again and again.

Monday night can be pretty bad as well. The coverage seems always a bit odd as well they seem to try and jazz it up a bit but never really works

Sunday tea time is a bit shitty. Especially tomorrow-it'll be dark when its over with the clocks going back-and then theres the redshite shitcunts to deal with at work. Cunts that have never been to the Theatre of Shit but watch yernited on sky

Worst time is before an international break because you have that bitter taste on your tongue for 2 weeks. Saturday early game is the worst for a time slot because I have to get up at 7:45 to watch them play those and if they lose, I get the "should have just slept in" feeling.

I hate 4PM Sunday games with a passion. At least with Saturday games you have the afternoon, evening and Sunday to take your mind off the game by doing other stuff. Sunday is just shit because if you lose you have work/school the next day, this time of year it is often cold and or dark before the game has even started (because we change the clocks because the 7 people who live in the scottish highlands don't like it), you have to put up with people taking the piss all day on Monday, its the start of the week, you are the last teams to play at the weekend and its just crap.

Mountain time GMT-6 here!

This weekends game (Sunday at 10am) is probably the best time aside from the late Champions League starts - but those are mid-week and during work hours (12:45). It doesn't really matter if it's Saturday or Sunday since it's still so early.

IT SUCKS waking up at 5:45 on a Saturday morning after a night out drinking though. Get in and fall asleep at 3am, and up less than two hours later... the Spurs game was worth it though! That would be the game I get rid of though.

8am is marginally better than 5:45, but still... It just doesn't feel right since I can't have a beer that early. Plus the pubs are closed and it's far too early to watch with others as well.

I usually just end up drinking a nice strong Americano.

Its always shite no matter when or where because ya havta go out and listen to those petty manc or scouser basterds at some point, and the fuckers will find you!

Only saving grace is they loose aswell so its shuts them up the glory hunter basterds.

weekends... because usually on saturday and sundays I miss the match because I can't wake up at 7-8am to watch the match against all my efforts to do so...so the first thing I do when i wake up is check chelseafc site ... a loss just upsets the entire day + weekend
